Good Points: Bright and colourful Easy to find kits not available in the shops Fairly good delivery time
Bad Points: Duplicates quantaties Contacting shop when things go wrong Products still very expensive Shop is actually in Germany
General comments: The Lego Shop At Home site looks bright and easy to use and hangs off the back of lego club, which has various games children enjoy but is really a sales pitch. If your children get the bug, lego is an expensive hobby, but the site helps find the kits that are after otherwise not in the high street these days.
I feel there is a big bug in their system and I'm not sure if it is a design fault because each time I have used it, it somehow doubles the quantity you ask for. Last time I did not notice until after I had bought by credit card, two items instead of one, and at £99 each it hurt. You then discover there is nothing you can do. They did not answer the phone and the email sent to the address on the site bounced back after a couple of days. The 'complaints' page is awful and you keep getting asked for a whole bunch of detail you put in two minutes earlier.
They eventually agreed to give me a refund, if I sent the second lego kit back, which is when I discovered it came from Germany and cost £25 to post back. Weeks on I am £124 out of pocket and I feel there is no communication whatsoever.
