Good Points: Donny Osmond's voice has evolved into a velvety, smooth, spiritual experience. His talent for lyrics that hit you straight to your heart are a surprise. He should have done this a long time ago, instead of singing sappy covers of other songs. His covers in this album of Richard Marx and Bacharach are incredibly good. Right on the money! What I Meant To Say is a personal, beautiful ballad, and Breeze On By is a catchy, lovely song that will leave you humming long after the music stops. His rendition of Bacharach's classic is perhaps the best I've heard, and should become a romantic bestseller.
Bad Points: Donny should not be afraid to go into R & B more. I could easily see Donny being played in one of the popular "smooth jazz" stations if he spiced things up a bit. I can hear little tidbits of that more guttural side, the raw emotion that he tries to control below the surface. Donny, let that rougher side out more - you'll pleasantly surprise us.
General comments: Whether you liked Donny or did not like Donny in the past, if you do like good songs, romantic songs, and sexy, smooth vocals, this is the album for you. It's almost too subtle, but Donny's vocal range is incredible. Guaranteed to swoon even the coldest heart. I for one, believe that Donny is like good wine, better with age.

So share it with your family, share it with your significant other, and just enjoy it, beca ...- Read muckluck30's review (167 words)
