The xr100 is great for jumping and for the trails I raced mine and it was awsome did not even bottom out once. This bike is great for beginners. Its a good bike for a beginner it goes about 55mph its reliable and is great on trails.

I got a 2000 Honda XR100R and the thing is awesome. It goes 50mph (stock everything) not 80 like some kid said in some review further down the page. I'm 5'7" 185lbs and the thing gets up to top speed in 5th pretty quick. Fun for any rider or level. I paid $700.

I love this bike because it is extremely reliable and it fools all my friends who think it doesn't have much power. It has way more power then what you think it does. This bike is very reliable and you can find them for so cheap now that you just cant beat it for the price. Great bikes to put a 115cc or 125cc big bore kit on, but I don't think it needs it. Even if you don't have much money to fix it up. I haven't had a problem with out having a lot of power because this bike gets up and goes pre ...

The Honda XR100 is an amazing bike and does what it was made to do! It's amazing going up hills!!! You can bottom out the suspension every now and then but it's a great bike.

I have had this Honda XR100 for a year now and have had over 200 hours on it. You can always depend on it except if you stop it while it's hot and try to start it right after. The gear shifter bent when I crashed hard avoiding a ditch and a metal pole in a field. This is probably the best starter bike for pre-teens. But I don't expect to keep it much longer since I have almost out grown it. Keeps value well since I didn't buy it new. My advice to you: never buy it new or any other dirt bike just ...

I've had this Honda XR100 bike for a year and have a few upgrades on it and it runs very well. I've ridden it on a track and it even handled well on it when it's just a trail bike. I recommend it for the ages of 9-13 and also depending on how big you are. Overall it's a good handling pretty fast durable bike.

I have a 2000 Honda XR100. I have had it for two years now and I have never had any engine problems, just flats and loose bolts and nuts. I use it to go mudding and I race it and jump it. It can make up any hills, no hill is too steep for a XR to handle. It can climb over logs, hills like nothing. I raced a YX 80 and smoked it. I have a K&N filter in it. It goes 80-85 mph.

I have a CRF100, and it is a really good trail bike, but the suspension is not that good, so I bought a bbr heavy duty spring. The exhaust is not very good, but when I take the spark arrester off, it sounds really nice. overall, it is a nice trail bike but not a good racing, or jumping bike.

So far, this Honda XR100 offroad bike has done an excellent job. No mechanical or body problems yet. It runs and looks great. It goes considerably fast and has good hill climbing capability. I've taken this thing through deep rivers, extremely muddy trails and up very steep hills. I've even ridden it with minimal complications in the snow. It's very easy to start and reliable. Fairly good on gas, too. However, you have to have the clutch mastered pretty good because it doesn't provide any leeway ...

The Honda Xr100 is a very nice bike with good suspensen but a not so good exhaust. This bike is a good trails and pit (sand or gravel) bike because of its size and power.
