Good Points: Large volume, high spin and relatively quiet.
Bad Points: It broke.
General comments: After over 3 years use, a few days ago our CR02 'door lock light' wouldn't go out when the programme finished, so the washing couldn't be removed. After reading that Dyson have a standard call out charge of £85 I phoned our local repair man who said he could fix it and would charge £45 call out. He was very helpful but busy and hadn't turned up by 5pm so I decided to open the machine myself, after unplugging it. The top comes off after removing 2 screws at the rear but it isn't easy to go much further; however I saw a ribbon cable (rather like you find in a PC) obviously carrying electrical signals. I unplugged it and re-plugged it, then refitted the top. After switching the electricity on again - the door light had gone out, and the machine is working normally again!
I assume that the plug had been loosened by the machine vibrations.
I hope this may help others with this problem.

Bought my first Dyson 6 years ago had a problem within the year which they came out and fixed. Had another problem outside of warranty (due to daughter putting something in the machine which blocked it) and they again didn't charge me for the repair. 2 years ago I broke the soap tray and contacted them to see if I could buy another and they said they would send an engineer as I was due an upgrade to the electronics (again free of charge). When the engineer came he said the drum was out of ali ...

As a mum with four children and a husband at home, I rely on my washing machine "doing the job". I have practically had my whole machine rebuilt. If you are considering buying this - make sure you take out the extended warranty as call outs are £85 a time.
The control panel is not sealed - given that most people have their machine next to the sink, this is a major problem. I am now on to my fifth control panel. I have also had problems with packing screws not being removed at delive ...

So far we are happy with this Dyson CR02 Flowcheck. This machine looks great ("it's a monster", commented a male visitor admiringly). It's intuitive to use, but the manual is so well written I read it anyway. Has a handy coin trap, and child lock that has so far mystified our 2year old. You can fit a very large load of laundry - about double our old standard sized Zanussi, even though it's rated at only half again the capacity. You can get at your washing as soon as the cycle has finished - ...

The Dyson CR02 Flowcheck is a good looking machine with good delivery, however, do not expect to pay this kind of money for something to go wrong immediately and not be offered a replacement.

Changed out our Bosch WFO2465 for a Dyson CR02 Flowcheck. The Dyson uses lots of water during the wash so clothes slosh around in hot, soapy water right from the start. The 2 drum action pulls the clothes in all different directions, opening the fibres, cleaning them extremely well and in good time. Clothes seem to come out of the machine feeling much softer. If you want a machine that cleans just like washining machines used to (before they became all water friendly!) get a Dyson.
