I WONDER HOW THEY MANAGE TO GET ALL THE GOOD AND APPROPRITAE PROPERTIES .THE OFFICE IN NOTTINGHAM IS A TOTAL DISGRACE WITH NO REPLIES TO EMAILS, NOT BOTHERED ABOUT LOSING A CUSTOMER ETC. WE FOUND THEIR SERVICE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Liars. Every time I have dealt with them they are nice as pie until you make an offer and then they go out of their way to make life difficult for you! Unfortunately they have a virtual monopoly on cheap properties in the area. The manager and the 1st Sales rep at Battersea are TERRIBLE. They certainly live up to the industry nickname though-'B****** Thieves'

Misrepresented contract and completed it as a fixed-price instead of 1.5% of selling price, which had been discussed in detail. The representative never mentioned a fixed price during the meeting. This was fraudulent on behalf of the agent. Sent viewers who were not proceedable ot uninterseted in this type of property. Strongly recommended we take a low offer, as their commission is fixed at a grossly inflated figure.
Bairstow Eves attitude - "Tough you signed the contract!" This was the manger' ...

They are unhelpful and plain rude.

As soon as I went in to their office with interest in buying a property they looked at me as if I wasn't worth their time. Unfortunately I ended up finding a place that was only listed with these agents and so had to use them.

Throughout the process up until completion the impression I got was that whatever I asked was a chore to them. They just couldn't be bothered with me. They never fed back information from the seller until I chased them.

    I would never r ...

This company is an absolute waste of time. They found us a buyer & then the day before the contracts were due to be exchanged they convinced them to buy another property from them at a higher price. They are completely unprofessional & rude, the Wollaton office in Nottingham is a disgrace! They called me every day during the failed sale trying to force me out of my own house before the sate of completion, all because they wanted the sale to go through so they would get their bonus in time for ...

This agent is so worst and unprofestional after having worst experience, certainly i would never reccomend this agent to anyone. These guys are very worst in behaviour and never co-operate anyone. nerevr responds to any mails and calls and never talks politely also needs to make several followups for each and every thing. this is worst agent ever seen in my life.

Bairstow Eves Estate Agents have to be he worst Estate agents to date! I am convinced they sent time wasters just to keep us happy and show they are doing their job. They were expensive and unprofessionl with the exception of one agent. If i decide to put my home up for sale again it would be with any other agency BUT bairstow. ps . the whickham branch is a poky place with no privacy to talk about personal financial details. I found that most uncomfortable .

Bairstow Eves are a bunch of rude and unprofessionals who are never there when you need to speak to them, never return calls or reply to letters or emails, blaming lack of receipt or IT problems.

Bairstow Eves are more interested in selling their mortgate products that selling a property.

IF YOU WANT TO HELL, USE THEM.

You have been warned. DO NOT USE THEM.......

The worst worst worst agent ever. They are the agents the landlord have instructed to rent the property. We are currently staying here and these agents come by and try to let themselves in without any notice or confirmation that it is OK. Despite our many complaints, they continue to do this. I wish I could give minus stars.

Got close to agreeing a price on a property we wanted to buy as first time buyers and dropped out because of Bairstow Eves as agents. Wrote to the seller to share our experience with him. They tried their hardest to get us into a bidding war with a mysterious other buyer who was in an identical sitution to us after we'd given proof of deposit already and when market is in decline. Mysterious other bidder allegedly offered £500 more than the price the seller had already verbally agreed ...

I would definitely recommend them to my worst enemy. My agent was so nice to me at first and persuaded me to go on the market. Once I was on and they found a buyer for me, an offer was made, I accepted and the sold sign was up by the next morning. I rushed out there seeking a mortgage and they promised that they'd help to find me a suitable property to buy. What they hadn't told me is that my buyers were not on the market as yet. One year on I am still awaiting sale of my property. I was refuse ...

I would not recommend Bairstow Eves Estate Agency to my worse enemy. Completely miss sold the property to us in the first place. After paying all of the huge deposit and agreeing a move we turn up with our removal van filled with all our belongings to find that the landlord had moved NONE of her things out of the flat and Bairstow knew this and failed to inform us. We had to put all of our things into storage and couch surf for a whole week! When we did eventually move in a week later the proper ...

We stated looking for a house as first time buyers. They knew we'd never done this before and Bairstow Eves Estate Agents seemed friendly and helpful. We saw a lovely house with them and we went through the financial advisor they recommended, which was countrywide. Country wide recommended and instructed a solicitor on our behalf which we were happy with. Then the mortgage fell through and the mortgage advisor was increasingly unhelpful and seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. We then ...

I bought my 1st property 2 years ago and after paying £1,000 up front for solicitors / mortgage fee etc i went on hols for a week.
When i returned Countrywide GAVE the work to another solicitor WITHOUT my consent, then banked the cheques ! When the new solicitors wanted paying, it was to be forwarded from Countrywide BUT they took a month to do and delayed my purchase by another month.

As we planned to migrate to Australia, decided to put our house on the market on 3 July 2007. Called my Bairstoweves local office as they were closest by. They showed up on 5th July, boasting constantly "we're the biggest and best agents in the country". Explained that we planned to migrate by mid September. No problem they said. Measured up the house, took various pictures and signed the 12 week Contract on a no sale no fee basis. Only on 10 July our house appeared on their website and on right ...

We viewed a property that Bairstow Eves Estate Agents had for sale. Myself and my wife loved the property so much that we offered the full asking price. The first thing they asked us was to provide proof from our bank that we were credit worthy. This was before they even wanted to forward our offer to the seller. We thought this was strange, but as we didn't want to lose the house, we went to our bank right away. Our bank had never heard of this type of practice before, but gave me a piece of pa ...

In addition to the bad points, we also suspected them of showing people round who had no interest in the house or could not have afforded it - one reason we suspected this was because of the behaviour of the people who came around, and because whenever we got a bit shirty they would suddenly find a viewer to encourage us to keep them on. When we had a terrible offer (£49k below asking price) we were pushed to accept it and to tell the Bairstow Eves estate agent what our lowest price would ...

As a buyer, I registered with all the estate agents, but Bairstow Eves kept constantly phoning with properties way out of my budget. They even tried to fix appointments without me knowing anything about the properties. One of the properties I did want to view, an agent was to show me around the property but didn't show.
