Haarts in Hockley should only be used if you want to know what a bad estate agents is like! The worst customer service i have ever experienced. The manager was the only person who was able to give you information (which was generally wrong) and you could never speak to her as she was always on the phone. I have also had dealings with Haarts in Westcliff when looking to buy a property and have found that they are just as bad.

    Avoid at all costs!

Please please please DO NOT list any of your properties using these agents. They are a cheat, Liars, and most of all they do not get you the best offer.

They would rather sell to whom ever they prefer, than give the vendor an option. I had put in a higher offer than this other buyer but still the agent decided to sell to them. The vendor was not aware of this, but once they found out it was too late.

They wasted my time, and I lost out on many other properties and also I lost out on my survey ...

Anyone thinking of using Haart estate agents in Lincoln should seriously think very, very, hard.
We have had nothing bur problems and lies from them. They don't communicate with you at all, are rude and actually make the whole situation even more stressful.
We only switched to Haart due to their aggressive pursuit of our custom, we wish we hadn't. They told us they couldn't believe our last agents hadn't sold our terrace for £79k and that we should box up as we'll be leaving in no time. Wi ...

The first, last (and only) time we ever used Haart was about 4 years ago when we were looking around the local area to buy a bigger house. We viewed a property for sale through them and put in an offer. When we heard nothing back from them after 3 weeks (!) we rang them to ask what the vendor had said. The agent told us the vendor had turned our offer down but he did not suggest anything about what we could afford nor even bothered to attempt further negotiations.
Some months later we saw the s ...

The reason why I decided to write this review is because Haart Estate Agency's dealings with problems and anything in general has gone from poor to worst.

One of my flatmates got married in June 09 and decided to move out at the end of our 1 year contract (2nd October). We have started looking for a replacement and after carefully interviewing many people, we had found a very nice, polite and respectful girl.

I popped into Haart yesterday to ask for the application form for the new tenant an ...

This is the first time I've ever had to make a complaint about something but the experience has been so negative that I searched for reviews on Haart and upon seeing other people's similar comments, I decided to share my experiences too. I've had some negative experiences with Haart, based in West Bridgford. You'd think they weren't actually interested in selling the properties they have! I've been trying to view 2 properties through them. After ringing 4 times over 4 consecutive days, each ...

We used the Haart Hockley office to sell our house. Staff are only allowed to take messages so that the manager's empire can't be threatened by anyone bright and enthusiastic on the team. No one except the manager can ever give us a status update. Calls aren't returned. The manager actually lies, promises to do something, doesn't do it, and then gives a different excuse for not doing it each time you chase. Our house went under offer quickly as we expected it to, but the sale is dragging as Ha ...

Whatever you do, DO NOT use Haart Estate Agents to either market your property or buy a property through. We have first hand experience in trying to sell our property through these agents as well as buying a property and the people that we have dealt with there are nothing but lazy, arrogant and rude. You'll save yourself alot of hassle, stress and verbal abuse if you use another estate agent!

I cannot comment on other Haart Estate Agents but the Rayleigh branch sold a property for us a couple of years ago. We had the property also with another well known estate agent at that time and they did absolutely nothing. Haart, however, booked and dealt with regular viewings (we gave them the keys, kept us up to date with viewers comments and ultimately sold it for us. They could not be more helpful. The staff are friendly and not at all pushy. They make you feel comfortable and confiden ...

The staff at Haart Estate Agents are rude, incompetent and lazy. I went in to register with them for finding a property that my husband and I could rent. None of their staff would listen to me and EVERY time I phone they took down the same details- really makes you feel like they remember you. Unfortunately we have inherited some pets and when I told them the woman on the phone couldn't get me off fast enough. Wilkie May, stags, humberts and greenslade all phoned the landlords to check whether t ...

I have had the misfortune of using Haart Estate Agents for letting a property of mine. Both I and the tennant hated dealing with them and I cannot begin to list the litany of mistakes I believe they made. Suffice it to say, I will never use them ever again be it via letting, renting or selling - and I would recommend that no-one else does either. The irony of it all is is how much they claim to be better than smaller agencies because they are "big" and "national". I consider their service to be ...

I have purchased houses through Haart Estate Agents and also attempted to sell through Haart (through no choice of my own). As I have experienced their service from both sides, I feel I have enough experience to give a fair comment.
We sold our house via another agent (a local independent) with whom we were very happy. We found the house we wanted via Haart. A couple of months later our buyer pulled out and we were told by Haart that we could lose the house we were purchasing unless we put our ...

It was in 2004 when I went to Haart estate agents in Hemel Hempstead.
We viewed a property for rent through them which stated it is available in the middle of the month and when we paid a deposit was told it won't be available until a few weeks later and we already made plans to move. They refused to give my money back to look elsewhere.

Before I start I have never complained about anything - I used to be a complaints manager for a bank - I hate complaints - but sometimes you cant help but complain, when you are treated badly - I am writing this purely so other people may make an informed decision on how this office has treated me - I hope they do not treat anyone else the same way, and I hope they read this and improve their customer care - I would not recommend or use Haart's ever!

I placed my house on the market with Haart ...

I have been very disappointed with FJ Lord (Haart company for London). I used them for renting a "fully-furnished" one-bed flat. I visited the flat while it was being "refurbished" or so I was told it would be. A month later when I moved into the flat (I signed the contract before checking the flat as I was moving back from abroad and had nowhere else to go to), the only thing that had been done had been painting of the whole apartment (it smelled very strongly for over a month), the carpets had ...
