Good Points: Staff friendly.
Bad Points: I don ' t feel they explained the contract to me clearly.
General comments: Very pressurized, don't feel like I am being looked after with the money I am paying them. I was informed that Connell will conduct the viewings not told I am to carry out my viewings. Be very careful of Connell ' s and double-check what they say to what they do.

Connells Torquay branch were fantastic when selling my house. They are friendly, honest and helpful and that's exactly what you want from your agent. They've also been with the co. for years and years and know the area inside out. No fly by nights that you get with some independent agents.

Putting my local Connells estate agents in charge of selling my house was a big mistake, on two occasions I requested that connells took some more photos of my house, I was told that they would ring me on thursday 24/4/08 but I'm still waiting. When I rang Connells I was told they would ring me on Tuesday 29/4/08 and I'm still waiting. Hopefully this will trun around and work out for the best.

We had the same experience as MagicDrShoon when arranging photos of the property in Central Essex. Very disappointing service, limited feedback - I don't think it was worth my while dealing with them! I definitely do not recommend this Estate Agent!

1) Promised to come around with a photographer when he brought the papers to sign, still waiting.
2) four days later we had to chase them up to get the 'photographer' to take pictures. (Turns out to be just another agent)
3) Eight days later our house finally makes it on the internet, All be it totally wrong! Says 2 allocated parking instead of 1, only comes up when searching for a 1 bed house, when it's a 2, the bedroom was measured 2 foot too short, neglected to mention key features, the list ...

Our house only went in the paper once every month whereas some estate agents post their properties weekly. Connells Estate Agents seem to slow down after a couple of months. I should like to reiterate the point that their feedback was limited, and I sometimes had to chase them.

We found that Connells didn't seem to do much more than other agents in our area.
They were also poor in providing feedback (always had to chase them) or in sending viewers to us (out performed by independant agents).

In my search for a dream home. Connells Estate Agents have been fantastic. Moving from the North to the Midlands was a big step for me and my family and the thought of relocating stopped us in our tracks at times, however Connells were friendly and soon understood our needs and exactly the type of property we were in search of. Even after viwing over 70 properties they have remained consistant and
have not tired in helping us.
I would definately reccomend Connells if searching for a property ...
