Good Points: None
General comments: I will never again use this company.
I booked a trip from Aberdeen to Edinburgh.Turned up at the bus station 20 minutes before the departure and missed it. Why? I did not know that:
1. The bus which had a sign 'Glasgow via Dundee' was going to Edinburgh as well (How could anyone know if this info is not provided when one makes a booking)
2. The bus did not have a sign 'Magabus'
3. Nobody informed me that in order to get to Edinburgh I need to change at Dundee.
I have been trying to call the company but the number I was provided does not work.

I found Mega Bus have comfortable warm buses. They are in my opinion cheaper and quicker than national express. On the down side it doesn't stop for a break.

I used the Mega Bus service a few weeks ago. I booked on to the 7pm Dundee to Glasgow bus. At 7pm they were only boarding 6pm bus people, as they were running an hour late. There were plenty of seats left on the 6pm hour-late bus, but instead of giving them to us (who had paid for tickets to leave at 7pm), they told us we could only get on if we bought a new £12 ticket. Several 7pm ticket holders bought an extra ticket to avoid more of a delay, as did some non-ticket holders. Only then wer ...

Had a trip recently to Scotland using the Mega Bus freebie offer. It cost me a grand total of 50p booking fee from London to Inverness!
I travelled on the overnight trip both ways and although legroom was a bit restricted on the way back (I managed to get in a 4 seat bay on the way out so I could stretch my legs then!) I still managed to sleep OK and the fact that they use the Greenline Bus Station in Victoria meant that I was able to run through to the train station for the train back down t ...

For one pound from London to Birmingham who can complain? Mega Bus really is the peoples travel. Also, unlike low cost airlines you usually can actually GET a £1 seat. Originally the travel was strictly no frills, using old double decker city bus style buses for the routes which very extremely slow on motorways and also noisy (although they were air conditioned). However in recent months on the Birmingham and Liverpool routes newer NX style buses are being used, with better seats and much ...

As a service I don't think Mega Bus can be faulted. I travelled from Newcastle to London for £2 return, plus a 50p booking fare that was shared with a friend. To me that means complaining about the comfort is a picky point, and it is uncomfortable after a 6.5 hour journey with the chance of sleep being low.
On my journey the outward driver was appalling, speaking to passengers with a total disregard and hostility. Of course this could happen with any company, but I find the chances of a N ...

The megabus is super cheap in comparison to other forms of transportation, if booked in advance! Booking upto a month in advance can get you a ticket to london from 1.00 a seat + 50p booking, from scotland! The frequency of the busses are very good, with services almost every hour to most popular UK destinations and it's much quicker than the traditional bus services.
However, in comparison to other methods it is still slow. I have also expeirenced, and heard of, breakdowns in the service. The ...
