Bad Points: You can only add songs onto it on 1 computer so for example; I plug my ipod into my computer and put my songs onto it. Then, I cant plug it into my laptop.

General comments: The clip is great, perfect for the gym. The sound quality is amazing. Its dead light and easy to travel with. I love my ipod shuffle! Its great! The sound quality is amazing, its perfect for people who only want to listen to the music and don't need the screen and everything.
Well recommend Apple iPod Shuffle v1.

I got my shuffle 2nd generation for Christmas and it's brilliant! It does everything I need it to do.
If I was to want anything extra i would have liked it to come with a pouch, but i guess i can buy one on the cheap. Well recommend the Apple iPod Shuffle v1.

I find the iPod Shuffle excellent for the gym! Some times takes a while to find the song you want, but thats the whole point of a shuffle really?

What is the point in an MP3 player that deletes itself every time you plug it into your computer? I do not store MP3s on mine as I back them up on to disc but really- no other iPod model has to have the tracks in iTunes in order to keep them; an absolute waste of time. So every time I want to change my shuffle I have to import at least 6 cds that are already on it just so they don't get deleted. I cannot see the wisdom in this feature.

The Apple iPod Shuffle v1 is dead handy and not in your face. If you just want to put your best tunes in one place and not have to be messing about flicking this way and that, so all you've got is one really good tune after another, then you cannot go wrong with this "littlebigthing"!!!! Simple, straightforward, good colours and not a bad price either

I won this off Review Centre, thanks Review Centre.

It does everything I need it too, simple to use, plays music, that's I need it to do.

Only bugbear is that I can't use iTunes because I'm still using Windows ME. that's Apples lack of foresight, means I can't buy tunes form iTunes, their loss not mine, I now use Winamp to put music on my shuffle and take it off, no problem.

I've had Ipods for years now and this has not disappointed me, it is perfect for exercise and all the stuff you are too scared to do with your expensive Nano or Video (i was too scared of breaking my video and losing all my tunes and vids!)
Easy to use (i found my nan using it the other week)
    Good quality sound
    Value for money
    Another cracker from apple!!!!!!!!!!

If you want a simple MP3 player that just plays music without all the fuss, then the Apple iPod Shuffle is the player for you!

It does exactly what it says it does, and if want one with a screen, then buy one with screen! Enough said!

The Apple iPod Shuffle is GREAT! I also have a iPod Photo 60gb, which I love for trips and using with speakers etc... but the Shuffle is perfect for daily use. It's light, easy to carry, and I love the shuffle function because you can put a ton of your favourite songs on it, and it randomly plays them, or you can set it to play from start to finish in the order you specify in iTunes.

I love this!!! IT'S SO EASY TO USE!! I love all the iPods, but this can't be beaten for convenience. I like it ...

My Apple iPod Shuffle MP3 player has been perfect, and it does everything you would expect.

Most important - the sound quality is fantastic given the limitations of the speakers.

iTunes is powerful but simple to use [maybe the bad review was due to a having a poor PC?].

If you prefer to use your PC as your jukebox and just want maximum portability + sound quality + good battery life, all for less than £100, then the Shuffle is fantastic.

The only 'missing' feature that wasn't o ...

I bought the Apple iPod Shuffle after entering 324 crisp packets on the Walkers website to win an iPod!! No luck? Did anyone get one?
My nephew got bought an MP3 player at about the same time, his had 128MB on it. The iPod had 240 songs on it within half an hour of getting it out of the box, and it has never played the same song twice. As ever there will be MP3 players out with 10 times the memory, but I mean, how much music do you want? Surely this is enough for a 2 week holiday at least?
    It' ...

I have had my Apple iPod Shuffle for about a year and so far it has done the job that I thought it would do, played music. However I can't say (a year later) that I am still impressed with it, as it seemed to get old very quickly compared to other iPod and Zen models. The 1Gb memory is good, but not great as I can only fit about 300 songs onto the Shuffle and for me, this is not enough. The size of the Shuffle is a positive factor because I can easily keep it in my pocket without it tightining m ...

The Apple iPod Shuffle is brilliant! I got mine in about July 2005, and I was kind of mad when I found out that the ipod Nano was being released straight after, but now I realise, there have been complaints about them. I wouldn't want to risk paying a lot of money for one. I stuck with the Shuffle and there is honestly only one bad point. I am a high school student and I take it everywhere with me. I would recommend it to anyone who likes music and wants it all in one place.

Time for a scathing attack on the marketing hype called the Apple iPod Shuffle (1GB). For once I give in to marketing hype and I get stung in a big way. I have been searching for the perfect MP3 player for my wife for quite a while now. I did consider the iPod Shuffle, hyped as the user friendly easy to use MP3 player. Well since Apple has such a big mouth about User Interfaces, it has to be good right? WRONG!

Sorry Apple zealots, my last experience with Apple is at least 10 years old and inv ...

The Apple iPod Shuffle 1GB version is pretty much the same as the 512mb version... I'm sure this is shocking and surprising info for you! Anyway the point is I love it. It's got twice the memory, and therefore twice the songs but for only £30 more. Some might argue that it occupies a whole between the smaller shuffle and the iPod Mini and really serves no purpose, but I would disagree. It gives you the best of both worlds. Enough tunes so you're always listening to something different ...
