    Greetings,
    I tried to send money online from my debt card to my son in college.
    I had spoken with 2 representatives which verified all my personal information. I was then transferred over to a third western union verification agent. This agent accessed my credit report without asking permission to do so. She asked me questions from my credit report in which I answered correctly. I then denied western union services by phone for reason that are still unknown to me. No one had asked permission to access my credit report prior to doing so. All this took a matter of 47 minutes to be denied.

    Really bad service. never use it any more.
    This is my second time use its online servive. and was told that "we can't not process your transaction. we are unable to process your transaction online or by phone. ..."

    i talked to their online chat and called their customer support. No anyone can tell me what was happened and what's wrong when. What in my mind was that I have been fooled to spend time to register and provide all infomation to them.

    VERY BAD SERVICE...DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
    Couldn't access the site from many computers.

    Once accessed then it took good 40 min to do the registration.

    Once done I called the agent in some far away land (probably India or China) and she asked me 101 questions.

    After answering everything and being in hold for a good 15 min she said "I AM SORRY THE TRANSACTION DECLINED" I asked why and apparently "I AM SORRY WE CANT SAY" .

    I know all my details are correct because I know ...its soooooooo frust ...

    SInce gooing to a Western Union branch is such a pain in Kuala Lumpur because they ask for an amazing amount of information and documents even for small trnasactions, I've decided to go through their website to send some money using my debit card, well after filling 3 pages of information it ask me to make a call to US, I did it and the operator told me the transaction was cancelled because I couldn't meet their business requirements, sorprisingly the money was taken out of my account, I called ...

    False Advertising: They tell you you can wire money online, besides their normal "go to the facility" or "by phone", but when you try to send money online, it will not let you. It asks you "personal" questions about your finances, supposedly to verify your identity, and after you answer the questions, a message comes up, denying you access to send online, saying your answers are incorrect (like they know you better than you know yourself), and telling you to go to a Western Union store.     I would never recommend Western Union to anybody. I sent $500 to my mother in the Philippines. I got all the transaction control number and the receipt from one of the agent location in a store,I went home and after 30 minutes or so an agent from Western Union called me that i have to go back to the store because they are refusing to send the money after they give me a receipt and gave me a confirmation number.So i went back to the store and told the agent that i was told to come back and g ...

    I have used Western Union many times, I have mixed views on the service! If you send to China Chinese banks will try to charge extra for exchanging money into CNY which is already in CNY so Western Union has closed business with many Chinese banks. Chinese banks are often very dishonest, this is not Western Unions fault, it is the banks at fault and WU often close business with Chinese banks for that reason!     Don't go to western union because when we sent money they give to wrong body and do not response to their fault. We still can't get money back.

    Worst company ever... I tried to send money online to my ill aunt... and because the phones numbers are not under my name... (they are under my husband name) they couldn't verify the information.

    My Father was stranded in texas and our home is in oregon... Western Union would not let me send money to him because our names are the same...He littaraly had notihng but his i.d and they gave him no consideration...my review is 0 out of 10 as they did not offer any other alternative beside bringing western union cash over 100 miles away...boooooooo

    Thanks for leaving my dad stranded with no money thousands of miles from home...someone needs to open a realiable company

    I sent $3000 to China, and my relatives could not pick up the money from one of the location listed on the web because this location does not do the business anymore with West Union, and he was directed to another location ~ 100 miles away, but he was told that they do not have that amount of money, and he need to come back 4 days later, plus, the money he will pick up after 4 days will be US$, instead of CNY even during the transfer, the money was already changed to CNY, my relatives need to f ...

    THEY SENT MY MONEY TO THE WRONG COUNTRY WHERE IT WAS PICKED UP BY A STRANGER AND REFUSE TO REIMBURSE ME!!!!
    I have been WU customer for over 6 years. I have an extended family in Ukraine and use WU at least once a month to send $$ to my relatives overseas. Last time (April 2009) instead of sending money to Sevastopol, Ukraine, they sent it to Russia (even though the receipt clearly says UKRAINE).     Western Union Money Transfer asked for way too much personal information for me to be comfortable using them again. I am actually concerned about identity theft now. I was also denied due to not having a land line. So, please do not give out your info. if you don't have a land line. Besides the fact that the fees are very high.

    (1) The actual fee is much higher ($58) than the fee estimate on the web and phone ($14) for sending $500.(2) The higher fee is not disclosed before you complete the transfer.(3) You have to call after all the trouble of ID verification on the web.(3) Transaction denied b/c it does not meet their business policy (but does not say what policy on the phone).(4) Some customer service reps are very rude.(5) They put a hold on your money for 3 business day even if the transaction did not go forward.

    Terrible service from Western Union Money Transfer. My money hasn't arrived - after 3 weeks. They don't answer emails and their customer service number is wrong on the website. Shocking experience.

    HORRIBBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
    I tried to send some money to a friend a state away after the online form ,they make u call lhe lday on the phone made a mistake and i was denied they claomed I wasnt who I said i was but i could go to a wesern union in person and apply there i was denied their becsuse of "internet fraud" the supersvisor admitted it was thier mistake but still coud not do anything about it
