Probably the worst car I have ever owned. Every six months something major went wrong; alternator broke down on Christmas eve at 4.30pm car was fully packed to go on holiday and spend Christmas with family. Then the radiator cracked, then the gear box blew to bits. Repairs were expensive.
    Fuel economy non existant.
Good points were it handled well and stuck to the road but relability was very poor.

Only got the Subaru Legacy 2.0 Turbo for shifting stuff from my house renovation, but was so impressed that I have now had it two years. A few bits of rust coming through though, but not much can catch it. 0 - 60 under 6 secs (uprated boost 290bhp). Will keep a steady 145mph down the Autobahn hour after hour with more left.

Off turbo they chug around town nicely. Flat out, first went too fast, 70 in second, 100 in third (thats less than 13 seconds). Mine runs on that expensive unleaded, but it does 3 ...

I drove one of these Subaru Legacy 2.0 Turbo, 4X4, GL Estate Sports Cars while my darling 205 was in the garage and I have to say that I hated it! I'm sorry to other subaru drivers but I did. Compared to my 205 it was slow and due to the length and weight it was incapabale of taking corners and didn't grip the road too well. It bounced on every bump and the stearing was twitchy and almost uncontrolable past about 70mph. It was practical however as the boot is huge, especially with the seats down ...
