“Heartless contact centre staff”

My complaint is regarding their emailing list and trying to remove oneself from it. I emailed the contact centre to remove my niece from their mailing list after her baby had sadly died, as obviously it's sad to get baby related mail after such an event. I received a blanket response promising to remove her from the mailing list. She continued to receive emails, what's more I then started to receive them. “Delivery service appalling ”

“Warrington Store”

Stay away from the Warrington store if you excepect to be acknowledged by staff or given any kind of service. Espacially stay away if you are pregnant as the staff will treat you as an obstacle and an inconvenience and rather than allow for this simply push past, excpect you to move out of there way or try and knock you down with there stock. “They kept billing me again and again after being paid”

I made a purchase of 3 items. All of which were in stock. I paid with my debit card. The full amount was taken. The shipment came from 2 different places. After I received my fist shipment, they billed me again for the second shipment. I tried to reason with them and they would not listen to me or my bank. I then file with my back for fraud. “Click & Colect JOKE!”

Ordered items from Click n Colect service. It was saying online "in stock" in the store I wanted to pick my order. After an hour got a call from customer service that they havent got it! Useless service!! Then I got a txt msg "yr order is ready to collect" so I phoned them and they said that it's still out of stock!!! What's the point of that service??!! The system inside the store does not take into account the theft. Therefore click and collect can be wrong. At least customer services got in touch with you to confirm your item was out of stock, before you left your house to collect it.

“Lies and Ripoffs”

I took my son to buy a Thomas the Tank Engine toy today as a treat. All over the shop signs were displayed saying "PRICE GUARANTEE. We will not be beaten on price". So I thin what the heck I will just check Amazon quickly. Sure enough, the £27 toy we were about to buy is only £17 on Amazon! So I happily told the checkout girl what I had found. “Would not give refund or exchange on faulty unsafe product”

Numerous faults and safety issues including failing brakes on an own brand child buggy product for our young son. The store we bought it from would not believe there were any problems when we took it back, and would not do an exchange or refund. Trying to deal with head office management has been really difficult and stressful, getting us nowhere. They were not willing to authorise a refund based on the problems and our consumer rights. “Awful Customer Service”

I purchased a baby changing bag from Toys R Us store. After a few months the cord has come out of the strap so wanted to return it. Rung my nearest store which is 30 mins drive away to check I could return without receipt and she said yes sure as its faulty bring it in and we will swap. “missing lego”

I went to toys r us Bradford today. As my son had christmas money he wanted to spend we brought the lego lord of the rings. After ages building it found out they were missing bits :( My son was so un happy!!!! “What a load of rubbish!”

I remember once upon a time when Toys R Us was a child's dream of a toy shop. Not now, it was full of unknown brand (own brand) rubbish. I bought an rc car which when I got home I found was broken which was hardly supprising as it was so flimsy. I'd normally describe it as cheap and nasty but it wasn't cheap! “Poor Products”

“Pathetic Customer Service and Hassle Getting Refund”

Purchased Xmas presents for kids booked 1 week before their cut off date. However, they never arrived - then arranged for a refund which I was promised I would get within 7 days. They then deliver the parcel on the 8th of January (by posting a note and leaving in the dustbin). “Appalling Delivery Service”

We ordered toys on the 18th December (well within the time schedule for a Christmas delivery). Not only did they not arrive in time for Christmas they didn't get to us until the 3rd of January. In total it took 2 and a half weeks. I emailed to complain and although I did get an apology they simply blamed the courier and didn't offer any kind of compensation. “Store returns without a receipt”

After purchasing a tomy toy from the East Kilbride store I attempted to return itas it was purchased as a gift but the child already had one. I had thrown the bag away with the receipt, not expecting to be returning it. Staff made me wait around for the manager to then tell me I couldn't return it as they sell it everywhere. To my shock what was normally a £29.99 priced present, which had also dropped to £25.99 in Argos and Smythstoys, but went out of stock, they priced at £36.99. Well after 5 days of waiting and numerous phone calls to customer services here is the outcome...

Though we aim for the highest standards in our shipping operations, we do have to accept that on occasion accidental loss or damage can occur during transit. This would appear to be the case in this instance.

Just a quick update. After two days of waiting in ALL day, and still no arrival of the item I purchased, they have refunded the delivery charge. Here's hoping that tommorrow will be my last day of solitude. They've assured me it will arrive on Tuesday.

Well I am sad to say that I have still not recieved my order. I have spoken to customer services twice today, and they just fobbed me off with the assurance that it will arrive today!. The worst part about it is they have taken my money and still no order. Infact they took my money on the 28th, I only placed the order on the 25th.... How is that good business. They should only take the money once I am in receipts of the goods!!!!!! I sent them an email yesterday at 12ish and this is their response.

As you can see it has been more than 7 hours and no response. I have now sent them a cancelation email, and a request for a full refund and of course I have the same response!. Not happy at all!!
