ICICI Bank UK is the most pathetic bank I have ever transacted with. Their online account never worked for me, and this is really ridiculous. I had a salary account at ICICI UK. I had to move back to India and my account was in operational for a while. And guess what? ICICI wants me to personally visit an ICICI UK branch to get it reactivated. I have exchanged tons of emails with the customer service explaining that I am not in UK, I dont have any intension of going back to UK, even my visa is expired, but I always get the same reply "You have to personally visit an ICICI UK branch!" Seems like ICICI UK is out of liquidity and cannot return my money, so they are acting pathetically dumb!

ICICI,india is useless and avoid it at all costs.
Never seen such a bank in this planet.
    Customer services are the worst.
Once money in bank ignores the customer.
    Typical subcontinent business!!!.

Avoid at all cost. Customer service does not exist. The latest in a string of ICICI disasters for me is that they bounced a cheque that I have written to my local council, even though though there is plenty of funds available. With well over £1200 in credit I expect a cheque for £60 to be honoured. Even worse is their absolute refusal to respond to my emails, so I have no idea what is going on.

I have called ICICI Bank customer care centre to add a payee to my account. And am currnetly in US and they say that i can not transfer if i dont have a mobile number. That's so pathetic. Earlier they used take verification and then they used to add a payee. But now they dont trurt their own ICICI bank site where u initially add a payee. And then u will have to call to call a customer care center and u will have to verify urself by entering your dibit card number and a pin number they dont trust ...

I have been Banking with ICICI for last Eight Years and its always very un satisfactory. This Banks works like worst than Greedy Booth. Give some examples about Money2India service. If the USD vs Rupee is falling then they will wait for two more days to credit into your account and if its raising then they will credit within thre days. Another exapple is Fixed Rupee conversion which is suppoesed be the same rate they offer on website (Exchange rates) But when you try to initiate a trasaction its ...

Don't open an account with ICICI, completely unhelpfull, they took money out of my account twice when they only should of taken it out once which left my other account over drawn and didn't take the blame or pay charges. The account and customer service is rubbish and they don't want to help.

Looks like ICICI's online support person who calls herself as Account manager seats in a server room and has no connection with the outer world and is totally helpless to resolve your problems (which are actually created by their own online system).

Absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs as customer service is non existent. Website is awful too, very difficult to manage on-line and you always end up having to visit a branch. There are very few branches in the UK, so unless you live next door to a branch, don't even think about opening an account.

I like the idea of using an Indian Bank for vistis to India, but believe me it is cheaper and quicker to pay the charges levied by a UK bank.

Transfers take ages, and if I had known how difficult it ...

Curse myself for opening an account in this bank in UK.
Will move at the first opportunity (which is today).
Too many issues to even bother listing down.
They should fire the top management who don't know
    how to run a bank.

I had 7,000 gbp in their fixed rate saver. I called ICICI Bank a week before to tell them I wanted to take it all out. They said I had it on auto-renewal (must have been in the small print) so I explained I wanted it all out. They said no problem, once it matures you can log in and remove it all. Well, upon maturity I logged in and could only get the 400 interest out and not my 7,000. I am now waiting for customer complaints. I can hopefully get my 7,000 out.

truly aweful. Simple request: confirm which current account is linked to ICICI savings account.

Info not online so made the dreaded call to their Customer "Service" had to repeat info 4 times and on hold for as many times. eventually got the info but to change linked account would take 14 days, which would be too late as that current account would close shortly.

tried logging in to send message- webiste packed up!

if you want to go bonkers in the space of 10 minutes, phone this inept team ...

They hold no accountability for the customers' complaints.. The chief reason for this is that their workforce is not satisfied.
They are continuously pressurized by bosses to sell life insurance- for their subsidiary- Prudential etc. So the customer service officer's main aim is to trap a customer and sell him LI, despite the fee/commission charged is higher at ICICI, than letting him directly buy the scheme from Prudential, whivh will also pass on some commission/discount etc. for the same pro ...

The ICICI Bank UK is the worst bank I ever encountered, the worst internet and telephone customer services. They've never replied to my e-mails nor returned my phone calls despite 10 times of requesting to transfer funds out of the account. Nothing has been done.

Eventually, I had enough of it and instructed them to close the account. But still nothing is being done about it. The ICICI is totally unprofessional and unethical with the worst customer service that anyone would not have wanted to ...
