“Very POOR customer service”

This bank has very poor customer service. Most of the managers are responsible for this poor customer service. They spend more time on KYC than not even properly recording the customer information. They never provide copies of the signed documents with customer signature to customer for future varification. Do not trust this bank. I tried to roder £400 of currency through their online system. Once I got the the end of the process i was presented with an error message saying they couldn't accept my card. I tried once more and the same message appeared. I then called customer service as instructed and they said to try a different web browser. I should have known then not to try again. “Let themselves down”

Website is kludgy, security not well implemented. I get emails telling me how to renew/revise savings accounts, then the website won't let me. Emailing support gets nowhere - no responses. “Unbelievably Bad Service”

These people are pathetic. I made one extremely small error on my application and they were completely unable to sort it out. I put an extra digit in my sort code for my linked account, which their software shouldn't of allowed to happen in the first place. They couldn't tell me for a week why they'd sent the check back. I've had a Savings Account with ICICI in the UK for a while now - Everything's fine..... Until you want to take your money out. It seems you can't transfer money to any account that dosen't have a direct debit set up linking it with your HiSave. This is not only bizarre, but completely unnecessary, as no other bank has this ludicrous requirement. “Worst banking experience for NRIs”

I am banking with ICICI since 2005 and had no issues when I was in India. It was my salary account. The only thing is they forced me with a Credit card which was required anyway, so I accepted it. “Customer is trash according to them”

I have been a customer for several years. Their quality of customer relationship has degraded considerably in the last few years. They used to get back within a couple of hours earlier, now they do not get back even after several days and after several reminders. They charge hidden fees on savings account and do not roll it back if you request them to. I opened a zero balance NRI account, now they raised the minimum limit to 15,000 without any notification. “ICICI staff don't know anything about finance !”

I am a icici customer and using icici direct for the past 7 years. Recently I redeemed 27k worth of mutual fund units and icici bank issued a cheque to my home. I was surprised, because the credit through redemption usually takes place through online. when I dialed to icici customer care number, the call directly went to wealth relationship manager to whom I told the problem very clearly. This bank is not at all providing satisfactory service to customers .I am connected with the bank from day one.I have many biter experiences. “Travel money received OK - no need to panic!”

I have just ordered Euros from ICICI Bank and they arrived safe and sound. I wasn't aware that there was a deadline for ordering (I think it's about 2.30 pm in the afternoon) in order to get next day delivery so was panicking when they didn't arrive the next working day. I also started reading reviews such as those posted on this site - which didn't help at all! “Bad Experience”

I know it all comes down to individual expectation and experience BUT please listen up. Trying to open a HiSave account was probably the worst banking experience and that's saying something these days. I followed the instructions while opening online and sent them a cheques to fund the account. The cheque was cashed very quickly but it took four weeks before I could get access to my account. My experience has been identical. I am still waiting for a proper reply to my complaints and the return of my initial investment.
This bank needs taking off the comparison sites and reporting to the FSA.

We should give Zero..even Single Star is not worth.
This Bank Sucks, Bad Customer service. These guys don't understand anything.
It takes 6 months to open an account.

Frustrated NRI customer.
Never In my Life Use this Bank.

“Slow, Slow, Slow”

Took three weeks to open the account. Online banking requires a lot of hurdle jumping and their customer service is lethargic to say the least .... my last attempt had me on hold in a queue for 8 minutes which at 5p per minute is naughty! “Very poor service and unethical business practices”

I have my account with ICICI for the last 15 years. Services were good in the beginning, but have gone to bad and worse. 1. Blocked ATM card without informing me when I was out of station after I already did 3-4 trasanctions. The excuse - they thought the card had not been delivered. 2.
