    Good Points: Plenty of good quality snow
    Entertaining off piste - but easy enough for my relatively inexperienced children to enjoy
    Excellent value
    Extended ski area if you ski across to the Italian side
    A traditional "French" resort - not very quaint - but not a purpose built either, and not chocka full of English tourists
    First class family resort


    Bad Points: Look elsewhere if you want nightlife
    A long drive up the valley, and watch out for weekend traffic out from Grenoble - queues were hours long for us
    Limited selection of restaurants, but those we found were good and not too expensive
    Village and all accommodation stretches uphill from the main road, along which all the shops and lifts (on opposite side of road) are arranged. It can be quite a climb at the end of a hard day


    General comments: Le Bois de Sestrieres in Montgenevre, France is an excellent good value family resort, with something for everyone.
