    Dreadful after sales service. Skates returned for size change and totally appalling service thereafter. Attitude of staff was dreadful and the excuse for the bad attitude was 'he was the only one there answering calls'!! Beware.

    Phoned up Kates Skates to order as I needed check that I would get the shoes on a next day delivery as I was away for the weekend. Assured this would happen but next day no shoes. Apologies from them and they agree to a discount. Shoes arrive and laces look like they have been dried out in the sun for a week, totally different colour to the shoe. End up speaking to a manager who is totally unhelpful and insists that I need to send the laces back before he would send me a new pair, so basically c ...

    Kates Skates use UPS, i had to pay 82 $ in brokerage fees, about half the value of my skates dissapointed as kate skates said they used Airsure. if your buying from overseas beware.

    Really dissapointed with the kates skates site. Ordered four working days ago. Just called up and the woman says they had to order from their supplier. They have a misleading site. Why would I order if I knew it was going to take over a week to arrive?
    Here's how the phone call went down:

    ME: I placed an order last week
    (woman takes a good few minutes to find me in the system)

    I ordered a pair of skates for my birthday which were supposed to be in stock i waited over a week before my birthday no skates arrived i emailed Kates skates but received no reply. A week past my birthday after loads of emails and receiving no replies i rang them up, the assistant who answered the phone seemed very patronising to me and did not apologise for what had happened he went on to say i would receive them in over a months time and you won't be able to get the skates anywhere else quick ...

    Biggest range of skateboard decks ever. If they haven't got it then you'll struggle to find it anywhere else. Next working day delivery that's free for items in stock.
    Massive selection of skate stuff and they haven't got it it then good look finding it.

    I ordered 2 pairs of Adio trainers from Kates Skates and both pairs were delivered the next day via courier. Worth phoning to check stock before placing order.Excellent service, highly recommended.

    next day delivery for all (UK delivery) great prices, trustworthy, professional, ordered several items from here over past few years - never any issues.

    would always look here first for new shoes/other skate gear, trustworthy, great site.

    Ordered skates Wednesday lunch time, they arrived Thursday morning before 11am. Fantastic!!! The skates are great.

    I will recommend Kates Skates to my friends.

    I ordered 1 pair of Duffs trainers from Kates Skates, then 2 days later I ordered another pair. After 1 week of waiting for delivery I called to find out was was wrong. I was told that I should have my shoes in a few days. After another week I called again, and I was told exactly the same. After 3 weeks of waiting I called again, and I was told that they were expecting delivery from Duffs that very day, and that they will be sent to me straight away.

    Kates Skates www.kateskates.co.uk - I destroyed a cheap board a while ago out of frustration and pretty much gave up the sport untill I was browsing for some good boards at around the £40-£50 mark and was having some trouble when I came across this inline skating store which sold pretty much everything I'll need for the next few years.     I got my first deck from kates skates a week ago and it was the first time i had ordered online. They have the best stock i've seen and the prices are really good for the UK. The ordering steps are really easy and secure! The best thing about Kates skates is that the delivery is totally free and it arrives within 2 working days!
