I love mascara, so I have tried alot over the years. I've been using High Impact mascara for around 6 years. I have tried many new ones that come out, but I always go back to this one. It does make my lashes appear thicker and longer. I use it in black, and the colour is a rich dark black which I like, as I am fair so have fair lashes. I curl my lashes, use the lash primer first before applying this mascara. People sometimes comment on how long and thick they are. I would say it is a little... (read more)

I love this. I've tried so many mascaras over the years, from budget to luxury brands and this is the best I've come across, I can't fault it. Good brush, lovely consistency, goes on easily, no clumps, last ages.
You can normally get samples from the clinique counter if you are considering buying this.

The best aspect of this mascara is the way that it won't stain your white towel when you take it off. When you do take this mascara off, you need to use hot hot water and a towel. The coating simply crumbles off, without smudging or staining your manchester.
That being said. I do find that it dries out my eyes a little, so I would recommend this product for someone who gets watery eyes.
Other than that. I am very happy with it.

brilliant stuff. I got mine in a clinique set for my birthday. I would recommend this to everyone!
It is a little bit expensive but good if u can get as a free gift or in a set :)

This Clinique High Impact Mascara is amazing, I have a very sensitive eye to use any other product, it was a release when I tried clinique's high impact mascara, it makes my eye lashes look beautiful, long and natural, and above all, my eyes were not irritated, its really allergy tasted! I got Clinique High Impact Mascara as a free sample, and was ok to use, but there is no way on earth I woud ever buy it. For the first few hours, it looked great, but my lashes felt heavy, and they would drop. I have naturally curly eyelashes, but I need to use curlers when I wore this. Cheaper ones are much better. I have very sensitive eyes and Clinique High Impact Mascara is a godsend. I got a sample of this to try with a clinique bonus offer! I love it, it gives volume and no clumps with no irritation. If you use their white primer base coat before you apply it then you get even more volume and still no clumps.......brilliant! (read more)

I have been using this mascara for years, and it is a good mascara. Gives real length, and separates lashes well, easy to apply and easy to remove, I give this one a thumbs up! Some may complain that it doesn't give enough volume, but I would say that it gives the perfect amount for a daytime look, and theres a fine line between volume and clumpiness, so I think this is on the right side of volume! After hearing rave reviews about this Clinique High Impact Mascara, I was excited to try it and I love mascara. It did have a creamy texture but it was clumpy, and it dries stiff. The color isn't rich like Estee Lauder's More Than Mascara. When I compare the 2 side by side, I notice that this one had a weird sheen to it that I didn't like, whereas the More Than Mascara was velvety and very rich black. I wouldn't buy this again. Clinique High Impact is the best mascara I have found so far. It gives a smooth, long and thick but not OTT lashes. It never clumps and it is very easy to remove with all kinds of make-up remover. I always curve the brush so that it is at an angle that is easier to apply. Curl your lashes before applying mascara also gives them a big boost. I am just totally in love with this product! This product is thick and comes with a nice brush. I do think if used with lash builder, it works better, yet you shouldn't have to buy the lash builder when you are paying this much for a mascara, when CoverGirl's mascara will do the same.
Girls with thick lashes, not long, but lashes that are close to each other, this mascara will clump on your lashes creating a smudged look. It also leaves flakes after long wear.

Clinique High Impact Mascara was given to me as a free gift with my last purchase of Clinque products. It took a while to get used to this mascara as it is much thicker on my lashes than my usual one. I am impressed with the product but will only use it in the evenings. It really does lengthen and help to curl the eyelashes although I doubt that it is waterproof so I musn't forget to take my umbrella out with me! (read more)
