    Bad Points: Constantly putting ink blots on page!


    General comments: Bought 3 of them for work. Most unreliable machines in my opinion, very hard to purchase ink from suppliers (can only be dell so they charge a premium)
    Do yourself a favour. Get something else, dont recommend dell Laser Printer 1700.

    Overall, it's a good solid laser printer. Takes a little while to warm up, but is quite quick in printing a large number of pages.
    One thing noticed by a co-worker and I is that each of our printers started to jam at about a year into use. We tried cleaning it, but to no avail. My co-worker took his printer, turned it upside-down and gave the bottom a few good whacks. No more jamming! I thought I would try the same and had exactly the same results. Should Dell put this in their Maintenanc ...
