Good Points: Quiet, smooth operation
Bad Points: VERY expensive on ink!!!
General comments: I have had the Lexmark Z615 inkjet printer for about a year. It cost just £30 from Maplins, and came with both color and black cartridges (No's 27 and 17 respectively). It worked fine for a while, but after I bought a new black cartridge it still would not print in black. I phoned Lexmark, who were easy to get hold of and very helpful, and they guided me through a test procedure, and then stated that the machine must be faulty, and that they would send me another minus power supply and cartridges. It soon arrived and all was well.
The trouble with this machine though, is firstly that I could never get the images to align correctly (even after going through their alignment procedure) and secondly, that a replacement set of cartridges costs more than a new machine, coming in at a hefty £32.
