In a few months for some reason my iPod Shuffle stopped charging so I got a new one, now it doesn't want to connect to the computer. Very irritating.

Basically, if you are a music lover this is maybe the ultimate mp3 player.
I love it because it doesn't have any poncy features like a colour screen etc and is therefore cheap and you can therefore chuck it around.

I love it because I plug it into the PC, take literally seconds to chuck a couple of my favorite albums onto it, then take it off my PC then I can go off for a cycle or drive or wherever and I can listen to music I love without going through menus and stuff.
I see this baby on sh ...

ASK any retailer how many returns they've had and what their returns policy is on this 'hunkajunk'.
My iPod Shuffle didn't work from the first time we used it - when I tried to get help on the Apple site they said it had been registered previously! This meant I couldn't get ANY support. Not happy.

I'd say the iPod shuffle is a great little iPod. I mean sure, there is no screen but it doesn't bother me and it's not THAT hard to skip to a song that you want. It's ever so easy to transfer songs etc. And, it is awfully small which is good for me. I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't picky about songs and is fairly sporty. Also, the price isn't that bad. Not bad for an iPod.
    8/10.
    Worth it.

I've had the iPod Shuffle for a while now. I bought it at Wal-Mart, and I never had any problems with it. The battery doesn't last all that long and there's no screen, but you don't need a screen to listen to music. The sound quality on this MP3 player is excellent, even with the headphones that came with it. I also never had any trouble with iTunes.

Overall, it was a great buy!

I got mine later than most. I paid $30 for mine on Ebay for a brand new 512Mb shuffle, because the new "mini" shuffle comes out 10/31/06.

In the past I've had Creative's MuVo and a couple of other varieties I can't remember. Most had reasonable, if not middling sound. This iPod really surprised me. Much better sound without muddy lows and screeching highs. Although the battery in the iPod is internal and not easily changed without going through Apple, my other units ate either AA or AAA ...

We have three Ipod shuffles in our household and all three went down at once with the orange and green lights flashing alternately depicting an error. I took them back to the place we bought them from and got two of them replaced the other was 30 days past its warranty. Hope these will be ok.

A lot of people on here say bad things about the Apple iPod Shuffle MP3 player, especially about it having no screen. Well, that's why they made the other iPod's! If you wanted an MP3 player with a screen then why did you buy it?

I have just got my iPod shuffle and I'm really impressed. It's so simple. None of those weird buttons that no normal person really uses. I have had one other MP3 player and it wasn't that great. Coming off that one and on to this one was awesome. It's good for peopl ...

If you're the kind of person who would take your iPod wherever you go, then the iPod Shuffle is for you. It's cheap, so you shouldn't be too sad if you lose it. Hey, it was cheap, so just buy another one! It is great for running or boredom. I can really understand what Apple means wen they say life is ... random... This thing will take you from rock to blues, and if the worst comes to the worst, just press the next button until a song you're in the mood for comes on.

    If you're a picky person ...

The I-Pod shuffle is very simplistic and is ideal to those new to MP3 players because it is easy to use. The shuffle looks attractive and the sound quality is very good. I would recommend the 512MB version to the 1GB because with the latter it could be a nightmare to try and find a specific song in a 300 song libary.

Very happy with this Apple iPod Shuffle. It was purchased just to have music while working out so for that it is perfect. Unfortunately getting it working initially was difficult as the manual missed out on some crucial information, some of which could be found on the internet, the rest I just figured out through trial and error.

I've had an iPod Shuffle for almost a year and it's perfect for me. I wear it jogging and walking around, and listen to it in the bathroom (plugged into speakers). It's perfect for jogging because of its tiny size and lack of weight.

It doesn't have the bells and whistles of some MP3 players, but that's half its charm. It just plays music, and it does it extremely well. The sound quality is excellent (although I recommend getting some black in-ear headphones such as Sony MDR-EX71SL).

I just got my ipod Shuffle. I was a bit worried, not a lot of people liked them. In less then 30 minutes, I had about 30 songs, now I have 51. The download's easy.but, you have to know who sings the song, and what song it is. This is my first mp3 player, also, the sound is great. I have a lot of old albums, they sound better on it, than they do on my cd player. But I don't like that it doesn't have a screen. I highly recommend this prouduct.

I have only been using the Apple iPod Shuffle MP3 player for a few hours, but I am very pleased with it!

I noticed the superior sound quality straight away, having used other standard MP3 players. It is extremely light and inconspicuous, which makes it highly portable, and the earphones actually stay in your ears.

It seems good value to me.

The iPod Shuffle is incredibly light and possessed of a very good battery life. It just never seems to need recharging. When you eventually need to recharge it, you simply connect to a computer via its USB connector. I didn't want to be tied to a laptop, so I bought a Belkin plug and car charger set ($22 in Wal-Mart). This set also allows me to recharge my other video iPod, so it's worth investing in if you have two iPod's.

Like all iPod's, the Shuffle is very well designed, and is so l ...

The Apple iPod Shuffle has excellent sound quality as long as your headphones work, as myself and many of my friends headphones do not work. Also, my shuffle only shuffles sometimes, and the buttons freeze up if I listen to it for too long. iTunes is a nice piece of software, and it is an easy program to use.

The Apple iPod Shuffle is a great product when it works. I gave this to my 13 year old son for Christmas, and he loved it... for one day. After a day it stopped working (and I mean everything). It won't give a battery status, it won't charge, it won't play... it's dead. I tried finding the receipt to take it back to the store, but it was inadvertently shredded. The iPod online help/support was of no help/support. It seems my serial number shows up as being purchased in May 2005 instead of ...

Not being able to justify spending too much on an MP3 player (when all it really is a fancy music player) I seized on the iPod shuffle, and what a good choice that has turned out to be.

Incredibly easy to use, the iPod Shuffle's controls are perfect and songs are extremely easy to upload and remove. Perfect for someone who enjoys music, but not as obsessively as to need their whole collection on one device. I also like the fact it promotes me changing my soundtrack frequently. It fits perfec ...
