Joseph 17 says.. I need discipline to loose weight and I was unsure if I could do it without going to a class each week. So fary I have lost just over 3 stone so I would say that yes it is doable without going to a class. The website is easy to follow, the mentor's are supportive and take real interest in how you are doing (you can choose to have them contact you or not which again I think is a nice touch). There are so many choices of different styles of diets that there is something for everyone and like me the ability to chose from one that works in the winter (GI) to one that works more at this time of year (Mediteranean). I am converted this is definitly the way forward for me. Oh and of course for value for money it can't be knocked 10/10 this site does exactly what it says on the tin!

I'm not one for group humiliation so I don't like the diet clubs where you go to be weighed in each week and get the suck in of breath when you havnt lost or even worse put on weight! So an internet based diet that gives me all the help I need, works out my meals for every day of the week & even writes my shopping list for me was heaven sent. IT WORKED! I lost loads of weight, kept my dignity and saved money.

E diets is very flexible, it has lots of different diets to choose from on one website and you can change to another diet at any point, if you do not feel the diet is right for you. Also you can exclude things from your meal plans such as eggs, soya, shellfish etc. The website is easy to use once you get the hang of it and there is a chatroom (where meetings are held), forums to post on and the circle of friends section if you are looking for email/messenger friends for support.
The diet plans they have available are:
* atkins
* gi diet,
* tesco gi diet, (I am following this diet and have lost 7 pounds in 12 days so far, see my review in the glycemic index diet)
* wheat free diet,
* vegetarian diet
* diabetes diet
* low salt diet
* low fat diet
* dairy free diet
* lower sugar diet
* high fibre diet
* heart smart diet
* cholesterol lowering diet
* ediets plan
There is an option for a fitness plan and a recipe club. Both cost extra.
The recipe club- I choose this option, it is a place where members can add there own recipes and look at other peoples too. There are loads of different recipes on there and it is very handy if you are doing a calorie based diet (as when you search for a meal they ask you to select a calorie range) but for diets such as atkins/gi I personally don't think you would end up using it as the recipes on their do not state whether it is suitable for atkins/gi.
The fitness plan - I did not choose this option as I thought I would rather spend the money on swimming or going to the gym instead.
In my experience, the options above are the only things you are asked to pay extra for ( that's if you want them).
Anyway I hope this helps and good luck with whichever diet you choose!
