I would never recommend Sharps to anyone. I experienced nothing but problems with this company, from poor customer service, poor workmanship and poor product. I chose Sharps believing that I was buying a premium product. The Fitting of the wardrobes needed to be scheduled in line with the other work I was undertaking - I thought I'd pay for reliability. As yet we are still waiting for the materials to be delivered - fitters due tomorrow morning between 8 and 9. Had a call to say delivery would not be until 7 tonight which to start with I find rediculous. Now just been told they wont make that and will deliver at 7.30 in the morning. Again rediculous and cutting it fine - I can see fitters turning up to no materials!. For the money I am so far not impressed...lets hope things improve in the next 24 hours.... (read more)

An interesting company I have to say. We only had one wardrobe fitted in the end and I guess not the largest of jobs that Sharps would be after. However, at the time we were after new wardrobes in two rooms but the salesman said that we shouldn't bother with one of the rooms! He went on to say how we can ask the fitter to make something up for us when he fits the main job. It'd be cheaper for us as Sharps wouldn't get a cut! I would advise anyone who reads this to go else where for their bedroom furniture. Very unhelpful when you ring with a complaint. They still took payment when the goods were faulted and had to be returned. The fitter was marvelous but even he had to make the best of things because one of the inside panels had been sent damaged. Their customer service is dreadful. To be honest i wouldnt buy a dog kennel for my dog from them. Whole experience Dreadful so buyers beware! (read more)

I would never use Sharps again. Did not meet my expectations. Very disappointed with the quality of the internal shelfs made from MDF and the cheap hinges, I expected better for the price. We were mislead by the salesman about the external finish of the wardrobes. In order for him to drop the price to a more affordable option (but not cheap at over £3700) he removed the pilasters from the order and said the finish would just be a white surround. I have just had bedroom furniture fitted be Sharps Bedrooms in 2 bedrooms. Very impressed by the kind of service I have received. The designer was ver experienced and guided us through what what be the best fit for our bedrooms. My little girls loves her new wardrobe. I called Sharps to arrange an appointment and someone came round within a couple of days at a time to suit us. The designer was brilliant and really listened to what we wanted. Had to negotiate hard to get to an acceptable price around half of the salesmans opening salvo. I dislike buying without a price label so this has previously put me off dealing with this kind of company. Purchased for one room to test before considering others. We were a little sceptical about ordering wardrobes from a large company such as Sharps, but were impressed by the customer service and the standard of wardrobe. The Wardrobes look really good and the guys that came to fit them worked hard all day to get them fitted in the minimum amount of time possible. One downside to the process is that when you get the initial quote they start with some crazy quote and then offer something like 70% off to make the cost of the wardrobes more realistic.... Poor communicators, no professionalism, door damaged late delivery, fitter sick according to Gemma, no return of many calls there excuse in a meeting. Too busy for customers. Lack of understanding lack of care. Our house was used as a storage for 4 days, told an untruth by Gemma that our fitter had just called in sick. I am extremely disappointed with the fitted wardrobes we have recently had installed by Sharps. The first installation had to be removed due to the inferior quality of the doors and the fact that the wardrobes were unusable due to my disability (which Sharps were aware of). The replacement design is significantly smaller than the original and therefore we were expecting a refund as it is obviously a cheaper design. However Sharps have not given us any refund to date. From the designer visit to the delivery of good and actual building of the wardrobes, Sharps service was great. Really friendly staff and not too pushy sales either. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. There was also a good choice of colours and styles to pick from. The design visit was thorough and very detailed. Indeed, it was second time round for Sharps Bedrooms as we were very happy with our bedroom which was installed about 4 years ago. The designer produced what we needed in the bedrooms, the produnts were delivered on appointed day and the fitter arrived on the day and time. Very experienced fitter finished both bedrooms to a very high standard and left the place clean and tidy. He even helped to carry rubbish away! Sharps Review March 2013 The whole sharp’s experience has been poor. Firstly the delivery date for the product got changed at the last minute and then they gave me another person’s delivery. The installation was good and the product is fantastic however when it came to the rubbish collection it was an utter disaster. I would urge you not to go with this company unless you are prepared to take day after day off work waiting for deliveries that don't arrive followed by fitters who don't turn up, to be told by their absolutely AWFUL customer services team that they will come the next day - with no consultation as to whether you are actually available to take a delivery/let the fitters in. This is now a third rate company trading purely on past achievements. We needed a cupboard and dresser for my mother who is disabled. I informed Sharps of this; the company first got the dimensions wrong - leaving a 10cm gap between the bed and the cupboard for a wheelchair to get through! We ordered a wardrobe for our bedroom. I was impressed by the designers drafting skills. In the days of CAD, he managed to draw up everything by hand on our dining table. Overall happy with the quality and look of the bedroom. However, had trouble with the designers and had to have them in multiple times to get it right. Even then, the last designer miscalculated the depth of one area of the cupboard which created huge problems. The fitter was amazing though and it is all due to him that the bedroom turned out the way we wanted it. He worked around the clock and put in the extra effort. This was an expensive fitted bedroom and did not meet our expectations. The dressing table area was very amateur and did not look at all like the plans drawn.Ther mirror was too small and the shelves were cheap MDF. The coving on the wardrobes could not be fitted as the measurements had been incorrectly taken. An unusual request for Sharps as we wanted a fitted wardrobe alongside a covered airing cupboard, as well as a full height desk with cupboard above to house DVDs & CDs.
