“Unsatisfied customer waiting for chairs ”

On 22/7/17 I bought an end of line table 6 chairs sideboard and cabinet they were called Provence slated back dining chairs, table glazed display and large sideboard.. There was only 4 chairs but was told ther are 2 more in the ware house in London which I paid for, to be delivered to store 2 weeks later.Delivery was excellent but minus 2 extra chairs. 2 weeks went so I rang store, I was told sorry they would get in touch again. Bought new suite, delivered weeks too late, not made as per order, rang up, staff were not interested they have got our hard earned money, were going to have new parts made for us, they had not placed that order 3 weeks later, also part was broken they did not report that either, they appear to have a no care attitude, obviously they are only interested in gaining their commission, they expect their customers to put up and shut up, I don't think so Furniture Village and I blame you for my suite… Read Full Review

Ordered table and chairs in November - items delivered separately. Issues: 3 chairs replaced so far and poor communication. Table was poorly made - engineer sentin March who confirmed table needed to be replaced - chased in May to find table had not been ordered. In July I'm still waiting for a replacement table. “Buyer Beware the guarantee isn't worth anything ”

Buyer Beware Purchased a Furniture Village Halcyon 2 3 seater power recliner and static chair for just shy of £1900 cash in the sale. Within 12 months the foam had collapsed to the point where it was so uncomfortable it was unusable as the springs and frame could be felt when you sat on it and it offered no support. “Very poor after sales”

Bought leather 3 piece suite with Guardsman protection. When cover certificate arrived we were only covered for the two chairs but not the settee. Phoned the Preston branch where it was purchased who admitted it was there mistake. Despite 8 phone calls and 2 months later it is still not sorted. 3 times they have said they will phone me back and they havnt. Goodness knows what would happen if their was a problem with the suite. I placed a very substantial order on 8 January in the Handforth store. I was promised delivery in 7 weeks. After chasing them I was told there was a delay of a few more weeks, again I had to chase them and was told I would definitely have the goods by 2 May (4 months from order). “Buyers beware”

No problems with the sales staff at Gateshead Metro Centre. Problems started when the 3 piece suite arrived damaged and faulty. Technician came out no problem however After Sales Centre is a disgrace. Unable to get a manager to return my calls poor customer service from staff who claim to be new. They don't accept all the faults - how can wonky stitching. dents in the armchair, nicks and blemishes in the leather and lack of padding not be faults? bought a 3 piece suite from furniture Village with a 5 year guarantee, Paid £3048.00 Paid extra as I wanted the best quality leather that they had, as I wanted it to last. The Suite was delivered in March 2015. Ordered a divan set from furniture village and a simple quality check by the delivery guys would have shown up a slit in the base. The item was replaced after six weeks. The issue is really contacting them to get the exchange, you spend ages on the phone trying to talk to them, it took them a month to reply to their email address so you re left with no alternative to phone. We would ensure that any offer of a delivery before an annual holiday ensure you get something in writing. We visited the store several times as we had purchased a new house and had been given a completion date of the 16th Dec, 8 days before Xmas.
