“Wrong wardrobe doors ”

Ordered a wardrobe from Furniture Village's online site and after waiting 5 weeks wardrobe arrived with the incorrect doors. The supplier could not have cared less they told me the problem was with Furniture Village and that I would have to deal with them. After chasing them on the phone a few times I was told the problem was caused by their website sending the wrong details to the supplier and that they would order me the correct replacement doors. “Never Again”

We bought 2 beds and the mattresses in good faith assuming that it will be fit for its purpose( HAVE GOOD NIGHT SLEEP WITHOUT INTERRUPTION DUE TO THE CREAKING NOISE). However after 3 months roughly one of the bed frames started producing creaking noises which disturb my sleep. “Faulty sofa”

We bought the paloma three seater chaise recliner and a two seater in 2013, six months after receiving the furniture the leather had started to come off, contacted FV who sent out a technician and it was found to be a manufacturing fault and they replaced the sofa, it arrived and the same problem has occurred, although this time FV are saying it's due to wear and tear even though it's exactly the same fault as the first time, they have offered a partial refund due to the length of time I've had… Read Full Review

Bought a 4 seater and 2 seater Devlin sofa in October. The material on the chair arms is so bad it looks like I've had it for years, the one I gave away before I bought this was in far better condition. Furniture village sent out the most scruffy looking "engineer" who said it was because it was our TV chair and the most sat in. he also blamed my dog which is strange because he never saw my dog. Just had new sofas delivered from furniture village 3 days ago. Colour is lovely, seem well made but...... I feel like I'm sitting on a concrete floor! They are so hard. I went in store 3 times before making my decision to purchase. In there they were lovely, and deep enough that I didn't feel as though I was going to slide off! On the 15th Nov '15, I paid £1894 in total for a HANDMADE BED BY MILLBROOK from furniture village after being told by MILLBROOK I would have to buy from them. I was supposed to receive the couch i have ordered on the 27th of Jan within six weeks of placing my order,but after the 6 weeks had passed i called and was told that the couch was delivered to the warehouse on the 7th of March. I bought a bed from them over 3 years ago, which turned out to be faulty. They sent an engineer who changed the topper which had absolutely nothing to do with the faulty bed! I am very disappointed with Furniture Village and their failure to deliver on their promise. We bought a £900 Sofa and waited 5 weeks for delivery only for all the Scatter cushions to be wrong. (Which is practically half the sofa!) When I called them they advised me due to Christmas it would take a further 8 weeks for the correct Cushions to arrive. I accepted this and waited. When we ordered our table and chairs, we was told the complete set will be with us by the 9th of February. It's now March 1st and we have recieved nothing what so ever, not even a phone call from anyone to apologise or to tell us it won't be delivered at that time. Order date 10th Sep 2015 Thurrock Lakeside around £10,000 spent on so called top of the range Italian furniture. Lots of problems toO many to list, including damaging my carpets as oil was on their dust sheets which they admit but have not paid for as yet. Ordered an extending dining table and chairs in early Nov 2015, delivery expected before Xmas. On the 17th Dec it arrived, on putting it together delivery man noticed the extending part of table was faulty!! Bought a corner sofa from The Furniture Village in 2015. Only had the couch a few weeks and one of the springs went. We took the cover off to find that the springs were connected with a small *** PLASTIC *** Connector. It was this which broke. We could not believe that this most important part of the sofas structure was fastened with just plastic and a few staples.
