I ordered and paid for my sofas 13 weeks ago. I was told they would be delivered in 12 weeks or less, I am still waiting and am told a different date each time I call. delivery guys were good ,whole pack of fittings were missing had to supply feet for one side of bed myselfe to use bed for the night also no bolts to hold bed together,also supplied myselfe,no fixing to hold both sides of bed together so cant lift up to use storeage,spoke to many departments even head office never phoned back,still waiting for final part 4 weeks later,after sales the pits… Read Full Review

Ordered a divan set from furniture village and a simple quality check by the delivery guys would have shown up a slit in the base. The item was replaced after six weeks. The issue is really contacting them to get the exchange, you spend ages on the phone trying to talk to them, it took them a month to reply to their email address so you re left with no alternative to phone. WEDNESBURY BRANCH...... SALES TEAM AND MANAGER MISS SOLD US A BED... THEY LEAD IS TO BELIEVE THEY WERE INCLUDING THE MATTRESS WITHIN THE PRICE AS A GOOD WILL GESTURE FOR INCORRECT INFORMATION GIVEN. A dining room table was discovered to be damaged when delivered. Delivery men very helpful as were the staff on telephone the following day. The table was replaced very efficiently and we felt valued as customers thanks to the courtesy and efficiency of all your team. We ordered our recliner sofa and sofa bed in April 2016 in Croydon store. The sofas were delivered in July 2016 but sofa bed was damaged and our hand rail was damaged too. We would ensure that any offer of a delivery before an annual holiday ensure you get something in writing. We visited the store several times as we had purchased a new house and had been given a completion date of the 16th Dec, 8 days before Xmas. We were desperate to ensure whatever we purchased would arrive before Xmas for obvious reasons.We had family coming and needed seating. Faulty sofa that they are unwilling to even exchange, the leather sagged on the seat after being sat on a couple of times, the foam used in it has developed a big ridge which is very visable and the base sits uneven due to improper fitting of the base.The recliner button also grinds. Their techs are obviously paid to not find fault they are not sent out to look after you, they are sent out to protect them! I wish she had been on duty when we went yesterday. We were ignored for ages then a chap came over said could he help but a colleague called his name and he just walked off and did not return. We were in the mood to buy and returned later after checking other stores out, all of which had much better customer service. When we went back the man pointed out he was closing soon and was doing the banking so we gave up, shame it was the sofa short-listed out of the many we had seen. Customer service is key to me. When I phoned to complain a nice lady listened and apologised but the manager was not present, I wish she had been working the day before - shame I thought they worked on commission!

“Great product, diabolical Customer Service ”

We bought 2 Shangri-la swivel/recliner chairs with matching footstools in April 2016. It took us until the end of October for Furniture Village to provide us with all 4 items in perfect condition at the same time, all fault free. The amount of to-ing and fro-ing, them losing/forgetting the exchanges beggared belief. “very poor quality with top prices”

After reading the f/b page on f/v. It is clear I am not the only customer with the problem of arms on sofas "caving in". This and obviously an ongoing fault that f/v are failing to recognize. Trying to use a main piece of furniture with wood sticking into you is totally unacceptable. My 2 and 3 seater sofa's are only 14 months old, are taken care of and in an adult only home,and still don't stand up to normal use. The assessor has stated this is normal settlement.!!! Really. Brought a marbel sideboard "mont blanc wide sideboard from furniture that coste me £799 plus delivery charges.. Having waited 10 weeks for it to arrive it came faulty. Bought a 3 piece expensive leather suite and all items were received faulty. Driver took pics and said it would be reported. I phoned the store straight away just in case and the next day with some more faults. Left it a few days and then phoned the aftercare team to find out it hadn't been reported and the pics were "lost". The store found them after 2 days when I requested a refund.
