Good Points: See what you always see on TV
Bad Points: don't think so
General comments: I suppose when you visit Los Angeles, Hollywood is one of those places you can't really miss. I wouldn't say it is anything extra special. Much of it is just a posh residential area. Obviously you've got the studios and the many sets, but the main part is taken up by the houses of the rich and famous, although quite a few live further out. My friend lives not far from LA and he showed us around, he knew a few spots where many movies are shot and also knew a few less well known places. Overall the experience was cool and if you're in the area, I would advise you to definitely go there, but make sure you visit other places in and around LA too. This place is buzzing and cool and some of the more remote beaches and places such as Carpenteria and Thousand Oaks are well worth a visit too.
