This color is fun and easy to use. Because it washes out I use it for funky colors like purple, orange and red. I never expect my home hair color to match the color on the box. There are too many variables. It's just hair. (read more)

I thought i'd try this as I am fed up with the messy hair colours I usually use which are slowly destroying all my furnishings in my house! So I got off to a good start, the colour being much easier to apply and less messy than my usual choice. That was until I washed it out and what was supposed to be pure light brown was pure dark brown! Not happy but I thought it would get lighter after a few washes but I was wrong, 6 weeks later and ready to put in another colour my hair is still dark... (read more)

I'd used the Nice'n Easy Foam in several blonde colours and was always satisfied with the results although I wasn't all that impressed with their Ashe Blonde. However, that was nothing compared with Loreal's Golden Blonde No. 8.3. It came out an unblievably dark colour - almost mid-brown, and very 'flat' looking. I rang the helpline and they said to use a clarifying shampoo to remove some of the colour, which I did but the colour was still the same. Then I used an anti-dandruff shampoo... (read more)

Shook the contents of the bottle and squeezed the middle as instructed but no foam came out, only bubbly runny goop. Washed the product out of hair, had to use both tiny conditioners to cover hair and rinsed. Lifted the towel and noticed dry caked on dye around the scalp. Ewe. Applied own conditioner and scrubbed scalp at sink until icky dried dye came out. Wasn't too fond of the stained ears and forehead either. First time any hair product has done this. Gets even worse after drying hair.... (read more)

just purchased the new l'oreal hair colour in shade 90 pure light blonde. It was awful right from the start. You apply the mousse and then after you are supposed to keep massaging it to keep it foamy. It felt awful on and dripped some. The colour did not cover the roots no matter how thick and how much i massaged it in. It did however totally ruin my blonde shade into a moussy dark blonde with roots. I did it on a friday night, and cannot get hold of anyone from l'oreal until Monday morning.... (read more)

I recently purchased No. 20 Sensual black purely because I wanted a less messy application and thought a mousse sounds like the way forward. After using this I can asure you I will NEVER be buying this again as I still have all my greys visible and I only have a few!!! Its sad really because I really had high hopes about this product! See below for plus points as well as negative points based on my experience.

My natural colour is a deep dark cool brown, but unfortunately I'm going with (not grey white honestly!!) Even though it's localised it's very visible due to the severe contrast to my own colour.
So I decided I wanted to dye my hair, have never tried it before on my own always worried about the mess. So this product really appealed to me. And true it was easy to apply, wasn't messy or drippy at all and worked reall easy. I used the whole bottle, I've got shoulder length but a lot and very...

I really liked the color It gave me, and it didnt last to long, nor not long enough. Too bad I coulndn`t find any copper colours, at least I foun auburn. Everyone thought it was my natural color, until I turned back to blonde.
Carefull! As with all hair dies, this one dries out your hair, mine became wavier after I died it, so now I have wavy hair... xD Im still giving it five stars since i`ve always wanted waves, although I`m not sure if any one else does.

This product looks amazing in my hair. I have tried three colours so far; electric black, chill plum, and the red one (the name escapes me). The black stayed in for a while, although the red stayed in for quite a while longer. It could have been due to the fact my hair is a reddish brown already. But DO NOT use the Chill Plum! It stayed in my hair for almost two months, and no my hair is not a light brown or blonde either. The odd thing was the colour only stayed in the front of my hair and... (read more)

After following all the instrutions, rise, yadda yadda... aftr drying out, It looked more like a burnt Carrot Top!!!
Not even a nice copper...no. It`s orange. I`m so frustrated with this damn product. I wash my hair every day now, hoping to get this OUT!!!

I love this. LOreal Color Pulse Mousse probably doesn't do much for someone with all dark hair but for my purposes it's perfect. i have lots of grey on black & this is the only bright temporary color that takes to my grey. the greys turn dark red or purple or pink and fade beautifully with time. the black stays black; there might be a tiny highlight in sunlight. and it's SO much more non-drip than everything else. perfect for "going pink" instead of going grey :) (read more)

I dyed my friend's hair Punchy Brown with this product. We had been searching around for a reddish brown colour that wasn't too too vibrant. Although the box says NOT to use on grey hair, this dye is the 1st brilliant colored dye that works GREAT on my black Asian hair with a /1/3 grey 'cuz it doesn't change my black but really "takes" on my grey and turns the grey into red/pink/purple streaks. People compliment it all the time, thinking I bleached/highlighted, THEN dyed my hair pink but it's just my grey. It washes out/fades quickly at first but all the faded shades look good on the grey too so I don't mind as it goes to pale pink. (read more)
