“hard to start”

Brand new, couldn't get started with new gas and oil. Took to local saw shop, and they couldn't get started. Back to dealer, and after 10-15 minutes, hey were able to get started with a lot of fiddlin'. Took it back home, and was able to started but not easily. I have used other brands and I am disappointed in the Stihl. (read more)

Ever since we bought the MS210 Stihl Chainsaw,it has given problems, within the warranty period the shop would try to fix it it, but not much success, now the warranty is over we have to pay to try to make it work. We have had chainsaws for the last 30 years, some of them Stihl,that were very good, but this one is just one big irritating isue and we would not buy Stihl again, nor would we deal with the Stihl retailer again. As far as starting it is great. But when cutting on the top of bar it tightens up so much that it will kill the saw and i have to use the plug wrench to loosen. I bought it because of the no tool needed feature but the next stihl I get will have the old school 2-bolt bar style and tool less oil and gas. (read more)
