I went to Cyprus in June and used P20 for the first 3 days of my holiday. To me it did not smell nice and I could easily smell the chemicals in it, despite this I persevered with it and on the 3rd day I found that I had come out in prickly heat on the tops of my arms. I have never had prickly heat before when using other sun tan lotions. Although it did make me tan slightly, I converted back to my usual Loreal spray lotion and was fine the rest of the time. In my opinion this product is no good, it smells horrible, left my skin feeling a bit sticky and gave me prickly heat due to the fact it stops you from sweating out of your pores.

I've been using P20 for the last 8 or 9 years. I am fair skinned and always used to burn but I have not had any burnt skin since I started using it. I don't find the new product any different to the old and I now live in Australia and it is a God-send for every day use - even walking to work could lead to burning without it. We've just come into Spring and had our first 33 degree day. I spent 5 hours on the beach with no problem at all. I only wish I could buy it here and not have to bulk ...

For children who create a fuss about having cream applied, like my daughter it is a must. Once a day application and she didnt burn. I use it all the time and swear by it.
The bad points far out weigh the good and I wont use anything else now. The thought of having to re-apply cream every few hours or after swimming doesnt bear thinking about.

I have purchased the original formula for years. It was brilliant. The new formula is very disappointing. It does a good job of blocking out the sun - so much so it does not help to promote a tan as the original used to do. I am devastated. Unless I can find old stock, I will have to find another product, as I will not buy this again. It is now no better than any average SP20 on the market, but the others are all cheaper!

I found it really hard to trust Riemann's P20 sunfilter first time I used it on my children, but now have complete faith. Great stuff.

I have been using Riemann P20 for the last seven years and found it to be an excellent product - I have fair skin and never burnt with it on holidays to the Med and Canaries etc. This year however was a disaster. I burnt all over my chest and back area (twice), but not on my shoulders, arms or legs.
After some thought I think I worked out what was wrong. After going into the pool and then laying down on the sunbed the product was being removed form my skin by the towel/sunbed. In previous years ...

I have used Riemann P20 Sunfilter for many years. I had skin cancer in the past so never sun bath, but I walk a lot and swim a lot, as I live in Spain. This product is an absolute God send to me, and I would recommend it for children, people with light skin, blondes, redheads etc - marvellous.

Over the years I have used only Bergasol products but now that I am living in the Canaries I have found that Bergasol does not offer the level of protection that I need. A friend of mine who's teenage daughter is into surfing recommended P20 and I have not stopped using it. I am often in the sun for hours at a time and have not burnt while using this product and I recommend it to all my friends and who visit.

Let me start by saying "I burn very easily", by easily, I mean I get sunburnt on a moderately hot day in the UK (20 degrees). I first started using P20 when I went on holiday to Cyprus about 6 years ago. I trusted the 'blurb' about how good this was and only put it on once a day. Even when I went on a day trip to Egypt (it was 40 degrees)....didn't burn at all!! I will not use anything else now. I really don't care about the price, just to be able to enjoy the sunshine all day without worry is a ...

Riemann sunfilter is excellent if you don't like reapplying suntan lotion. As a redhead I am able to enjoy the sun all day without worrying about burning.
Great for all day cover and no worry about burning. The slightly tacky feeling of the new lotion has spoilt it for me and it does sting my eyes.

My partner and I have been using P20 for at least 10 years and wouldn't use anything else. We both have fair skin but we have never burnt, even on a dinghy sailing holiday in Greece. Having said that, we are always a little careful for the first few days of a holiday in the sun. P20 seems expensive but because of the once a day application, it's probably no more expensive than products which have to be reapplied throughout the day. It does tend to stain clothes a little but we've found i ...

Cant wait to try new one
I have two kids age 10 & 8 yrs who hate having sunscreen applied. We apply after breakfast before going to the beach & pool & I can safely say we can stay out for many hours without buring as long as you apply without skimping. We have had many holidays abroad & never burnt with P20.
But have burnt with many other sunscreens that make claims they last longer
