Good Points: Looks good turned off, but it looks amazing turned on
Bad Points: None
General comments: I work in retail and have been selling plasma TV's since they came out. When I finally decided to buy one, it was not an option as to which one as the Pioneer PDP-434XDE it is the only one.

After installing many of these screens they are easily my favourite (I'm not paying though). A couple of guys can have one fully plumbed in to DVD/5.1/Video/Terrestial and digital TV in a couple of hours out of the box. On screen setup is frankly a piece of cake. On a negative point the standard silver speakers are aesthetically and acoustically pants. The black fabric covered upgrade ones are not so bad.

The Pioneer PDP-435XDE is a good TV if you can afford it. If you can hold on for a year or so it will be a lot cheaper and with sky going hi-def early next year it's another good reason to wait.

Although the Pioneer PDP-435XDE is high in price, it is definitely worth every penny - if you can afford it go for this over other models like the Panasonic.
