Good Points: Very filling & nice size portions.
A realistic diet you can stick to long term
You do not have to count points or calories like other diets
It is very straight forward and easy to follow
It is good for your health (prevents cancer and heart disease, also it is the most effective in diets for management of diabetes)
    Its Fab = )

    Bad Points: None so far!

General comments: This Glycemic Index Diet is the best diet I have tried & I can't imagine myself slipping off this like I have other diets! I have been on the diet for 13 days now and have lost half a stone already even though the target for weight loss on this diet is one pound a week!

This diet isn't a fad/crash diet as you are not cutting out any of the foods your body needs e.g carbs, proteins, (good) fats and fruits/veggies. I was shocked when I saw the meal plans as it included a lot of bread, even chocolate and other things that would be 'sins' on other diets, I thought I would never lose anything.

I have found this diet really quite easy and have not found myself craving for more food or deprived of anything. I have not struggled to find something when eating out, I have found it easy to fit into my family life and the least expensive compared to a lot of other diets i've tried. I feel a lot more healthier I have tried other diets which have just made me feel energy less but I feel I actually have more energy than normal, I have even managed to motivate myself to do 20 mins of home exercise a day. I have tried most diets including Atkins, Weight-Watchers and Slimming World the list goes on, this is definitely the easiest of the lot!

I have followed this diet by registering with ediets (2.99 per week, min 10 weeks) and have chosen the Tesco GI Plan over the original GI Plan as I shop at Tesco's. See my review on e-diets for more info about their website.

I have also brought the GI Diet Book by Rick Gallop (very helpful! - it helps you to understand how the diet works, it includes all the foods to avoid, foods to eat occassionly and foods to eat as much as you want, meal plans etc and loads of other stuff) I would recommend this book to all GI newcomers! (Check out ebay for a good price & aim to get the fully updated book as it has more things in it).

Anyway I'm going to stop raving on about this diet, I will update this review soon to let you know how I'm getting on and if I have discovered any thing bad about this diet!

If you are not bored about hearing more about this diet, go to Rick Gallop's official website (it has a lot of great feedback & reviews for inspiration).

Good luck with whichever diet you choose!
