I have just finished my first round of the 3 dd. I have lost 2 kg(4.4pounds). The bad bits: I couldn't sleep at all on the first night. This is probably due to the detox process or withdrawal from my high carb eating habits. The food isn't tasty, but that's a small price to pay, I feel. You have to be really motivated and dedicated all the way through to the morning of the 4th day. It's only three days of dedication! My friend gave a copy of this diet on February 1st this year. I was skeptical at first but I prayed about it before I started on February 4th. Sunday, February 3rd, my husband and I went to Walmart to buy cottage cheese, eggs, peanut butter, non fat yogurt, tuna and and different kinds of fruits. I read a blog on this 3 day diet so I am going to try it. I started today. I weigh about 220 lbs. I did not weigh this morning but I will tonight to see if I get the same results everyone else did. The food cost me less than 30 dollars. I was never a big eater, so I'm not feeling any negative effects. The blog that I read said that she lost about 90lbs in four months. I Have tried several diets over the last yr. I am 41 and I am about to go on a cruise and wanted to lose about 6lbs before I go on board so if I do gain weight it wont be a big deal because I have room to gain LOL. Today is day one on this diet. It's not been too terribly bad...I've been trying to drink 8-8 oz glasses of water along with my coffee and tea. I've had to run to the restroom a million times, I guess all the drinks are flushing my system! I did get hungry after lunch, and it's not time for my dinner yet, so I ate my cup of carrots. Over the past two months, I've had a bad case of yo-yo dieting. One week I would shed 8 lbs and the following week I would gain 5. Ok, after being on leave for 30 days, I had to report to my next duty station and didn't know I would have my weigh-in done! OH NO!! 30 days with eating badly and drinking beer! Started this diet yesterday weighing 194lb stuck to meals but had a few extra coffees in between meals with tiny amount of milk in and this morning I'm weighing 189lb!! I would just like to share a fascinating experience, I started out yesterday at 5"7 and 170lbs (77kg) I stuck to the diet with occassional substitutes and even did a little walking, I weighed in this morning (2nd day) at 164lbs! (74.6kg) I have managed to lose almost 6lbs in ONE DAY! Obviously I know its mostly water weight but im an evening muncher and considering you only get three fixed meals I was exhausted by the end of the day! But definitely worth it! On the first day I slipped in an extra banana and cream cheese on my toast and tuna. On the second day I hate an extra slice of bread again with cream cheese and an extra apple. I started at 75kgs (165.3) and I now woke up Day 2 at 71.5kgs (157.6). I hope to lose atleast one more kg by tomorrow or (2.2lbs) but even if its just a half kg I still lost a lot more than I would have ever expected. Over the last 4 years I have gained 60 pounds. Needing to really do something about it, I started the 3 day diet plan. This diet is great for several reasons. 1. It spells out exactly what to eat. No guesswork, no calorie counting, no points counting. 2. It only lasts 3 days. I have like zero will power, but I can do anything for 3 days. sorry i forgot to add that the version of the 3 day diet i followed was the chemical 3 day diet, the one with the peanut butter on day one and hot dogs on day 3, there are many versions and i think they all work as well, you can substitute certain things.
i am a 46 year old mum so i think i have approxiamately 30 years of experience behind me of diets on and off.....my 18 yr old daughter is off to ayia napa in august and said she would definitely do it....as a mum of a very slim active gorgeous daughter i have no qualms about this as i regularly witness her burn the candle all weekend, skipping meals, drinking too much, sleeping till silly oclock, she goes to university soon and works hard too, i cant police her eating habits now she is too old, but i can give her my advice of many years, i have spent too much money and time attending WW and SW for a pound here and a pound there, its so tiring and soul destroying, my advice to young girls and my daughter is keep your wieght in check from a young age, relax whilst you have kids, keep active, if you gain about 10lbs do something about it.....i have friends who didnt notice 3 stone going on over the years and are now a slave to diet classes, i have passed this diet onto them, it was a friend who lost over 2 stone last year for an operation on this diet who i took the inspiration from.

are you from the uk?? if so i used morrisons crisp breads they come in a box of individual wrapped 5 small crackers, they equal the saltine crackers, i have been back off my hols 3 weeks now, i use this diet monthly now for the week i bloat due to period, i have lost a total of 11lbs now , im happy wieght so i use it weekly to allow me to enjoy weekends to my hearts content without the worry of gaining, it works for me, for first time my wieght as stopped fluctuating and more importantly the bloat i used to experience can be banished within a day on this, good luck to you x

The 3 day diet has been a quick fix for me over the past 5 years. Everytime I get out of control with my eating habits and gain some weight, I can always depend on this diet. I always loose between 8-10 pounds the first week. The weeks after I loose any were between 5-8 pounds somtimes it can be 2 0r 3 pound though. All in all I love this diet. (read more)

I did this diet for 3 months 13years ago and lost 50lbs! I made it habit/routine to do it tues/wed/thurs every week and on the off days follow the weight watchers plan. I had my daughter 10 years ago and I'm trying this again....my advise to you would be eat what you would when doing the new ww points plus program!

This diet does work! I started the diet last Sunday and
when I weighed myself Wednesday morning I had lost 6 lbs. I have been dieting or eating healthy since January 3rd and now have lost a total of 24lbs. I have started this diet again yesterday (Sunday) and am hoping that I will lose another 6lbs or more by Wed.am. I will keep doing this until I reach my goal weight (another 38lbs to go).It is only 3 days and before you know it, the 3 days are up.

I did this diet many years ago, for the period of 2 months or so, I lost about 25 kg-without any exercise. I believe that the succsess of the diet is due to the fact that you only do it for 3 days of the week, it's kinda 'fools'the system so that the portions of food the body receives varies and it keeps the metabolism on it's toes. This diet was fantastic and I was satisfied after eating. The first day was very tough because I lack discipline big time, but I felt lighter after the first day. Day 2 and 3 were just fine. I did not lose 10 pounds, I lost 2, but thats ok with me. I guess i'm going to have to work a little harder to get off what I put on. I just started it again today after going off for 1 day. The very first diet that doesn't make me feel too hungry. I'm feeling great during the 3 days and doesn't feel like I'm starving or dehydrating like some websites suggests. I started on a Monday having brought all the ingredients I would need on the sunday, ingredients came to about £15 for food for the 3 days.
First day was hard as I was used to eating a lot more at meal times but I enjoyed thew ice cream a lot in the evening.

I love this diet! Ive done it 3 times. I weight 123 lbs now. Yhe first time I lost 8 lbs. I waited 1 week and did the diet again. I only lost 2 lbs. So I waited a month to try it again. I lost 5 lbs. It teaches portion size and not to eat unless you are hungry. I have kept the weight off. If I gain any weight on vacation or the holidays I will definately do it again. I had to swap peanut butter for a boiled egg and grapefruit for a Orange. Im not used to having such a breakfast so felt quite full. Im going to space out the food though so I dont have to go so long without food. So have something every 2 hours.

I started this diet first on Wednesday 8th July at a whopping 13stone. The first week I did it Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I then started it again the following Monday (18th), Tuesday and Wednesday. I weighed myself on Monday 25th and I was 12 stone! That's 14lbs in 2 weeks! I have been following this diet for almost 4 months. I follow the diet three days a week and eat the moderation the other four. I am in my sixties and have a bad knee, so don't get a lot of exercise. I jumped on the scales this morning and have lost 3 pounds, so I'm delighted. I love this diet!!! I did it and I lost 10lbs in 3 days!!! Mothers day threw me off a bit and I ate a lot so now I'm doing it for another 3 days . I also worked out for an hour every day on the diet and I got excellent results I highly recommend this diet. I am half way through day 2 on this diet. I have been exercising too. I am hungry but crubing it with water.
I have already lost 4/5 lbs according to my scales so I am really happy,and intend on sticking it out to the end of day 3. I also intend on fil.ling the rest of my week with weight watchers plan to ensure I dont over eat and put all the weight back on.
