I'm slightly perplexed at the number of negative reviews for dabs.com. I've been shopping with dabs.com for over 4 years and have made multiple purchases - about 40 separate items between about 15 purchases. During this time I have always received top class customer service, the goods have always arrived in good condition and the delivery has been extremely fast. On 12 february 2013 I ordered memory from DABS which I understood was 'ordered on request' so did not expect immediate delivery. On the 21 February I was told "The stock is due in with us on 21/02/2013 then we will be booking this in and shipping this out to you". I ordered a SSD from Dabs and selected next day delivery from the options at the checkout. When choosing delivery options the site told me in very clear terms that I would receive my product the following day. The SSD turned up three days later and was clearly marked as Royal Mail 2nd Class post. This also means there is no tracking and therefore no way to know when the order will arrive. I had to wait over 3 weeks to get a working product delivered. The first item was deliver 4 days after order. It was faulty, so I raised a return immediately. I had to wait another 5 days for it to be a convenient time for them to collect the faulty goods and then another 10days for the to received said goods and test before they would even consider sending out a replacement. After having done some research for a new laptop and having looked at a few websites I plumped for the Lenovo B580 Core i3-2328 laptop on the dabs website. I ordered the laptop and when it arrived I opened the package, all the seals were already broken, the warranty card was filled in with someone elses address. The laptop was scratched. I recently decided to purchase a new TV. After browsing around, I found the one I wanted (Samsung 32" Full HD SMART LED TV) at both dabs.com and Amazon.co.uk. Ordered an AOC monitor which arrived with a damaged HDMI socket. Reported this and it was collected. It was two weeks before a replacement arrived. This has a dead pixel, not a major problem but the issue is both monitors arrived with the manufacturers seal on the box cut which might suggest that they were both customer returns. I'd been a loyal Dabs customer for quite a few years and had bought thousands of pounds of items from them in this time and always had pretty good service from them (mainly because the product each time worked first time). Then they sent me a PC that simply wouldn't boot up. It took weeks to get it shipped back to them (boy they make it hard to find out how to do this !) and to get my money back. I have recently used Dabs.com twice, once to buy an iPad for a Christmas gift and another to buy a laptop for business. On both occasions ordering was easy and delivery was very quick. One of the power leads for the laptop was wrong, which was not Dabs' fault as it was sent from the manufacturer like that with the seals still in place, but customer services replied to me straightaway and a new lead was put in the post that day. Used to be a great firm but now..? They couldn't sort out a problem of their own making without creating another three! Item ordered was faulty and dangerous. They took 2 weeks to confirm it was faulty, over a week just to say they'd even got the item back. They told me, with great irritation, that 2 weeks response was documented in their T+C and I should go and read it. It was not. I just recently built a computer compiled of parts I bought from there and I never had one problem with delivery, reliability, or customer service. I bought all components separately and over the course of a few weeks, which means I had numerous items shipped over that time frame. None were late or faulty. It seem my experience is contrary to some comments here (I get bad news always travel wider and faster). Bought a faulty motherboard that didnt boot so returned it, They said "CPU mount pins have been damaged. This is consistent with user damage from misshandling. I am now convinced that Dabs never shipped the RAM in the first place. I also suspect, they are now going to make a fraudulent insurance claim for loss of item. Once I get my my refund or replacement RAM, I am never buying from Dabs again. Also be aware that on many items such as graphics cards, cpu's, motherboards, etc Dabs only gives 1 year warranty, whilst other retailers such as Ebuyer, Novatech, Overclockers, Amazon are giving the full manufacturer warranty of 3 years.

You can sometimes buy in their shop products in good prices, that is the reason I bought from them my Seagate 2TB green, the disc failed after few months, and when you try to contact them they made up senseless excuses, they don't even talk correct sentences just senseless words which you later put together as meaning ''no sorry'' there is no warranty talk with manufacturer. I've been shopping at dabs for years, and have always had quite a good experience, however lately (since they have been BT) the service has dropped to be super poor. In once case I had to wait 6 months for a refund! I purchased a PSU from DABs and had it sent to a friends house so as I could fit it for them when I visited them. When I arrived, I took the PSU out of the box and fitted it. I qualified for free delivery, which came by Yodel. Yodel are notorious for failing to deliver, whether it's lying, not knocking or leaving parcels in plain view and in rain. Well this is an oldie from 2005/2006 but it still annoys me that I let them get away with it. I had bought said card and lots of other parts from Dabs and the graphics card later developed a fault and started artifacting. When I returned an item to them, they were apparently 5 days behind booking returns in and refused to even contemplate refunding me until they'd caught up .... which speaks volumes to
a) their total lack of customer care
b) the volume of returns the get for whatever reason
As with a couple of other recent reviewers, dabs will never get my business again, and I will most certainly do everything I can to dissuade anyone else from wasting their time and money on this shambles of a company.
