Kids couldnt wait to get here they loved it plenty for all ages. Had to wait a while for some rides as day went on but thats always the way. Oakwood Park staff were friendly enough cost me and my two daughters £33.00 to have a go on vertigo ride as you enter the park but other than that all rides included in fee and loved every minute of it in fact we visted chesington on the way to wales and kids liked Oakwood better would have liked to no a little more about height restictions before we got there but we are from otherside of the country so didnt know much about the place till we got told about it by a friend definitely worth a trip.

I didn't give this park a good rating because of how good it is compared to every park. It does have the usual problem with litter, and the theaming is slightly out of whack.
However I will say this. Concidering that the is in Wales which aint exactly the best country in the United Kingdom, I thing it's most likely to be the best place to visit in south Wales. If you're visiting south Wales, don't forget to visit Oakwood Park.- Read Guest's review (81 words)

Oakwood Park, Pembrokeshire has a lack of magic .i had only 1 thing in common with staff neither of us wanted to be there.alot of rides in kids section closed and in need of a couple of gallons of paint.not everything is included in entry £1 for golf ball as deposit to which you only got 50p back .now also opens at 10 and closed at 5pm unlike before theme bars food amd fireworks till 10pm- Read hondaxl's review (84 words)

Really bad customer service. Watch out for dirty rides I had oil spilt on my clothes from a ride and had to leave early and they offer no refund even though they admit it was their fault. Take your own food, they don't serve what you ask for and we had to clean our own table. The park is run down with lightbulbs missing in key dark areas. The paint is peeling off rides. Overall I must admit that their standard of service is diabolical.
I would not recommend you waste your money on this park- Read Lawrence Burns's review (103 words)

All in all I think Oakwood in an amazing Theme park and deserves to be one of the top theme parks in the UK. It's not as good as Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Alton Towers or Thorpe Park though, but it is still a super theme park.- Read lilmizzbeth's review (137 words)

This theme park is the only decent one in Wales and that's hard to stomach or say on it's own. The price hits me every time I have the sudden -insane- urge to go. And I'm talking about the entrance price alone. The food is poor and so is the pricing. Environment wise, it's a what I would call typical British theme park with typical British teenagers running around, there is little control from the staff. Ride wise, only two rides really stick out, they are Bounce and Megaphobia, having travelled ...- Read Guest's review (192 words and 1 comment)

At Oakwood Park, Hydro is the joint tallest water ride in the world. Speed has the steepest drop in Europe. Megafobia is the 2nd best ride in the UK according to Coasterforce. Bounce and Vertigo are good if you're not afraid of heights.- Read Guest's review (45 words)

Rides all exciting at Oakwood Park, varied in fear factor and duration and rides for all ages. Good catering and we enjoyed going on the rides in the dark with the lights! Can't think of any bad points. As all rides are exciting and mostly original-like the sledging one for instance, maybe Oakwood could consider another park?- Read Guest's review (57 words)

Lots of different rides to suit all the family at Oakwood Park, Pembrokeshire. Best to visit during the week during school times if possible to avoid long queues. Food is expensive, best value food is to be had by speed, hot dogs and bacon butties £2, if you like tea, take your own it is dire!! The park is fairly hilly and people with walking difficulties could struggle.- Read dizzydebs's review (67 words)

Oakwood theme park has some of the best thrill rides in the world.
It has the UK's steepest rollercoaster with a 97 degree drop, reaching speeds of 95pkh! Hydro is Europe's fastest, steepest and highest water ride, with a massive 45 foot splash. Megafobia is the wooden rollercoaster, which is always high up in the tables for best wooden coaster, and it has been voted for many things. The bounce, a great fun shot and drop tower. Vertigo, the only ride that you will need to pay extra for, on top ...- Read supersion's review (196 words)

The Oakwood theme park is amazing, and when I went the queues were tiny! There are good food stands and cool rides, such as Speed Hydro Megaphobia Bounce. The only bad thing about the theme park is the chicken stand and Spooky 3D.- Read tanky70's review (51 words)

Oakwoods in Wales is one of the best theme parks I have ever been to! We went in peak season (August) and the queues were still tiny compared to somewhere like Thorpe Park, Alton Towers... It boasts the largest wooden rollercoaster and the best ride - Hydra's Revenge! It is the tallest water ride in the UK and a truly breathtaking experience. There are, of course, many other rides, some large, some small. As a result, there is plenty to do for all ages and all likes of rides. Definitely worth vi ...- Read emmarald27's review (102 words)

Oakwood is a brilliant theme park and a brilliant day out. It's the only theme park in Wales and boy do I love it! I've been there four times now and every time I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. The four main rides are Vertigo, Hydro, Megafobia and Bounce. Vertigo is an extreme flight experience which looks absolutely terrifying but when you ride it, you'll be proud of yourself. Hydro, is the fastest and wettest water ride in the world and is absolutely brilliant! It is a must ride!!!! I love it ...- Read hello18's review (185 words)

When I went out to Oakwood the price to go in was all right not cheap but not expensive
The thrill rides (megafobia, bounce, vertigo, hydro) are all good white knuckle rides which leave you with a hunger for more and to get back on them but, out of at least 20 rides there only 4 main ones which I think lets the park down as going there as a teenager you would be bored in about 2 hours.
The cleanliness of the park leaves a lot to be desired as across all the path ways there are chips paper cans ...- Read Sara Grinter's review (188 words)
