Good Points: It was everything the previous reviewer said.
Bad Points: It has been superceeded by a new edition.
General comments: Rolls-Royce, The Jet Engine was a great book in its day, but you should see the new one.

Rolls-Royce, The Jet Engine - The Rolls-Royce, the Jet Engine book is simply the best text on aerospace gas turbine engines there is. The book covers everything from how it all began with the early Whittle engines and how gas turbines work right through to maintenance and overhaul. The book is designed for aerospace engineering students but will answer any questions on the subject.
The text is easy to read with very few unnecessary big words, only those that need to be there due to technica ...
