The call centre seems to take no notice and ignores requests to cancel card and any associated insurances.
Very poor service that ignore the consumer credit act when it is not convenient for them.

I recently received my asda reward card.Try going on line to manage your account, ajoke ihave put the correct account no. in countless times, keep geting told wrong account no. I spent 20 minutes on phone, even spoke tosomeone, who told me he has re-set account and would e-mail password.Nothing has arrived from asda on my e-mail address. It is also very hard to understand call centre staff, who speak very poor English.I would not reccomend this card to anyone.Long wait on telephone with no results.- Read Guest's review (89 words)

I like the storecard as you can only use it instore & for fuel which i think you can keep tabs of your spending more easily.
Don't think that the amount off points per spend are very rewarding as since november 07 I have spent roughly 3300 & have got £23 something back in vouchers over 12 months.- Read t tops's review (66 words)

Neither the in store checkouts nor petrol pumps will recognise my card. Despite having complained to ASDA and them sending me information how to re-set the card it will still not work.
Very poor set up and poor back up.- Read Esteban's review (67 words)

The card DOES work at the petrol pumps, you just have to be a little patient and follow the instructions on the screen. BECAUSE it's not a chip ', pin card you have to insert and remove it a few times - this is NOT the ASDA store card, this is chip 'n pin technology "falling back" to reading the magnetic strip after 2 or 3 failed attempts to read the chip.
Can't speak for in-store issues since I only use it at the petrol pumps.- Read Guest's review (84 words)

I called the Asda store card help line, she explained that the repayment are paid for lowest interest rate FIRST (balance transfers), higher rate of purchases are remained unpaid which interest rate will be charged. It is totally misleading of the 0% balance transfer.- Read user2008's review (71 words)

I think it might be a good idea if the cashiers recommend the card to customers who pay using cash as they may not be aware of it.- Read nancyguyan's review (95 words)

The card won't work in the "Fast Lane" pumps because it isn't "Chip and PIN". I phoned the store card helpline, and I was told it would work, but this isn't true. Queues at the ordinary pumps are often horrendous.
The Asda store card is a good idea, but the card needs to upgraded for it to work properly at ASDA petrol stations.- Read davewirral's review (87 words)
