    Bad Points: ALL OF THE ABOVE

    General comments: DO NOT RENT FROM EASYCAR. I booked my car through the easycar website over a month ago. One day before I was due to fly they emailed me to tell me that they couldn't provide me with a car and to resubmit a search on their website. After booking with them the screen says that they would get back to me within 48 hours. After two days I rang them and was on the phone for 10 minutes without speaking to anyone. I decided to book with doyouspain, and a good job I did because if I hadn't I would've been without a car. ************RUBBISH***********

    Rented a van and told I was not able to pick it up on arrival. Rubbish service, location didn't have Easy Car Rental name or logo to tell you it was there. Customer service line is an 0906 number which I couldn't call from my mobile or a payphone and probably wouldn't want to!

    "Awful" experience with Easy Car Rental. They transferred us to Targarent in Pisa, waited ages at airport for awful service, then got a beat up well used Alfa. Even worst when we returned the car. Charged us nearly £100 for 25ltrs of fuel.

    I would advise anyone who is renting from Easycar to make sure that they are renting from Easycar and not, one of there sub companys in other countries

    Same problem as others! Lease an Easy Car Rental car online to save £10 and when we went to pick it up, surprise, surprise...no car that size. They don't even have small cars there to lease, so had to get a bigger, more expensive car as daughter had to have a car while we searched for a new one for her.

    DO NOT RENT FROM EASY CAR/ IMPERIAL CARS. I rented 3 cars in South Africa from them at a total of over £1200.00 they took another £250.00 after the cars were returnedsaying it was for fuel and other charges. The cars went back fully refueled and in exactly the same condition as recieved.

    Could find the car company at airport we had to get a taxi to office then when we took car back they said there was a bump on side of door we agreed to take responsibility because we had paid for the zero risk insurance with easycar the car hire company told us they would invoice the insurance but two weeks after we got home the car hire company took £405.from our bank account without telling us we rang easycar but was given no help.

    No information about how to get to the pick up point (Heathrow airport) by public transport.Pick up point wrongly identified on map. Cheap but not easy. I would not recommend Easy Car Rental.

    When we booked a child seat it said this was not guaranteed but we found it hard to believe we would be left without one as we couldn't drive away without. The seats on offer were completely outdated and worn. It was not possible to fix it securely in the car. The straps for the baby were filthy twisted. The staff response was take it or leave it. We took the seat so that we could get to our destination and hired a new seat there. Tyres were also in poor condition.

    I booked a car from easyCar from September 16 to pick up from London Victoria. First, Sixt, the agency EasyCar used this time, would not give me the car because they claimed my driver's license (international, issued in Russia, with inscriptions in French) is not valid for the hire because they cannot understand it (even though I used it in the UK and elsewhere in Europe for the last 8 years).     I would never use Easy Car again from Olbia airport or anywhere else. The smaller local car hire agents were much better and polite!

    We booked a car through easyjet web site in August because the rates were favourable. We were a bit concerned because of all the bad reviews we had read but went with them because of the price. The booking online was easy enough. We picked up the car at Zurich airport and were very pleased with it. We checked it over for scratches as was noted by them. Car went well for the week we had it. On return to the airport, it was filled with petrol as requested, we handed over the keys and off we went. ...

    I would not recommend EasyCar at all. There customer service is shocking. I am still waiting for a refund of the money I paid upfront. They quote a 5-21 day tie period for getting back to you and believe me they will go to the full 21 days and beyond. Best to book with a company you know you will at least get a car from.

    Like so many other people I have been shocked by Easycar's complete lack of customer service. I rented a car back in May in order to help my sister move and provided Easycar with my age (24 years) at the time of the booking - when I arrived at the airport I was told by Budget (the company Easyjet had chosen as the local contractor) that they would not rent a vehicle of that size to anyone under the age of 25... something that does not apply to most other car rental companies.     I've just returned from a week in Ireland where I rented a car from 353 (Alamo) at Dublin Airport. I did this some weeks before through the Money Supermarket comparison website, which came up with Easycar as the best deal.     The car was in good shape (brand new) and worked perfectly during the 10 day rental. Upon dropiing off at the airport, no one to receive the car in the parking lot - I personally inspected the car for damage - none. The gentleman at the desk told me it was not necessary to have anyone inspect the car with me, just return the keys.     I booked and paid in full for a car to pick up at midnight from Gran Canaria airport last sat 9th Aug 2008 and was in a queue behind another lady who has crying her eyes out, I soon realised why when we were both left stranded late at night in a foreign country with no car despite having full prepayment vouchers as confirmation.     I would not consider using Easy Car at Olbia Airport. Use Economy Car Rentals with caution as they are proving difficult, I keep having to ring Crete!

    I booked car rental from Montpelier airport. Right at the end of the on-line booking process (having paid the rental in full) I was shown a map of the pick-up location. This was 6 miles from the airport with no explanation of how to get there. I wasn't happy with this as we are travelling with our small children and I do not want to drive into the centre of town for the return journey.
