London Luton is a horrible airport. They always have problems with car parking. The staff at the airport are very unhelpful. Information desks always seem to be empty. For an airport that size you would think you would get a large amount of shops, but you don't. There are not many at all and they are overpriced! The toilets at the airport were really dirty so I'd rather use a toilet on the plane. Getting to the airport from the M1 is atrocious and there are always traffic problems caused by the airport. They now make people pay to drop off somebody. People probably don't like to ask people for a lift to the airport beacuse they have to pay. I've flown from this airport twice and both times were a nasty, horrible experience. I will never use this airport again and I don't recommend it. I'd rather use Stansted!

Arriving or departing from Luton is a bad experience, I am aware there are major works going on but the passenger disruption could be eased by changing the clueless management for a team more sympathetic to travellers needs.

General comment is not a good airport because of bad amount of shops, transport links being the worst ever. The airport terminal has hardly any windows which means it has hardly any natural light which I think is a bad thing. The building is quite dirty as well!

I feel that security is too slow and the airport has not really got any natural light in the check-in area. I also think there is not a good variety of airlines and destinations and has bad car parking and also a lot of traffic jams on the way to the airport!

The airport has grown greatly and is always playing a game of 'catch up'. Some investment is being undertaken but the overall impression is poor. The road system has been undergoing changes for years now without real signs that it will ever be completed! The signage is confusing !

No queues, tidy and clean, easy to get around, staff great. Great airport. spacious and close to home. A little difficult to get there!

We could not get a direct bus to Oxford from Luton Airport, so we had to go to Victoria in London first and change over, which is hassle when you have baggage to carry along. However, the buses which did run to London Victoria from Luton Airport were very prompt and they came often. Although it was a bit like a cattle mart trying to board the bus. I have since been told one of the other London airports offer a direct bus service to Oxford, so I'm going to look into this. I have taken the Lut ...

We used airparks off site car parking when we flew from Luton and I would not use them again, our car was damaged on they do not accept responsibility for damage, so the choice of a cheap option ended up costing us much more, than had we gone for one of the on site carparks.
