Good Points: Fantastic atmosphere. Buzzing salon with dedicated staff. The staff actually look like they enjoy working there and want to help. Very modern, well kept salon.

Bad Points: There were no bad points really. Maybe the music was a little too loud but i liked the music that was playing so i cannot really complain! A cut and colour and finish can set you back £100 but it was totally worth it

General comments: I visited this particular salon from recomendation from a college at work i walked in and was treated as a queen. I waited 5 minutes with a coffee to be seen to and my stylist and colour technician had a chat with me, in great detail. I had full head highlights and a cut and finish. I also had a treatment when i had my hair washed, which left my hair feeling fantastic for about 3 weeks after. The treatment was only an extra £8 which in my view is brilliant value! I was recommended products, two of which i bought, Moisturising shampoo and conditioner which the girl who washed my hair and my stylist recommended to me. I loved my finished result and i am returning there in the new year. The staff were all very friendly and were always smiling at me. I always get very scared when going into a salon as i find the staff sometimes very intimidating, but not at this salon. The best hair salon i have ever been too and i would and have recommend it to anyone who wants an experience and want to be treat like royalty! And also have fabulous hair at the same time or course! Saks in York was fantastic! Thank you very much, i now have beautiful hair, the first time in years.

I was recommended by a friend to SAKS in cardiff for a cut and blow dry. I travelled to Cardiff by train and was really excited after researching SAKS on the internet. To my disappointment I was kept waiting in reception for 20 mins without an explanation. Finally the stylist came and apologized and apparently blamed the receptionist for not letting him know. After consulting with him I expressed that I wanted body on the top area of my hair. I do not like flat hair. Advanced cutting skills ...

I went to the Wimbledon salon when I was shopping one day in town with my children. They had an appointment available soon. No problems having children (8 and 3) in tow. The haircut I got was great, quite a change to my usual style but absolutely suited me. Friendly atmosphere, staff seemed to know clients coming in well.

Made appointment over the phone to have a cut and blow dry with manager|hairdresser.I was given the wrong direction to Saks in Stokesley, which I had never visited before. The town was busy and I couldn't find a parking space so I was ten minutes late only. I sat and waited squeezed against two other customers in the shop window for 15 minutes with the sun beating down on the back of my head and wanted to pass out. The staff rudely stared. No one offered to take my coat. I was taken to have my h ...

I used to go to Saks in Wimbledon. The new manager there seemed nice and the stylist who did my hair seemed experienced.

However, when I got home I realised one side of my hair was nearly and inch longer than the other, and I still had loads of split ends.

To be fair, when I called, the manager told me to come straight in and sorted it out for me, free of charge, but I don't have time to keep going back and forth to salons.

    I won't be going back.

I have been to Saks Bromley, and was really happy with my cut and colour. As I live in Weybridge though, I thought I would try them out. What a mistake. It started off ok, the stylist was friendly enough.

I had a photo, thought I had explained what I wanted pretty well. I said please do not make me look conservative, I want it to look funky.

I walked out a cut, that was almost the opposite of what I asked for. The colour was definitely the opposite of what I asked for. The front was unev ...

I've been to Saks Hairdressers Great Barr twice. My first experience was fine, all I wanted was for them to correct the home colour I did myself which turned out darker than I wanted. I left the salon happy with my colour. I went back a second time to get the colour done again, went into salon and the receptionist asked, "is it for a cut" and I said, "no, I booked for a re-growth tint". I specified this when I made the appointment, I didn't have the same girl as before but a young man. They did ...

My seventeen year old grandaughter went for colour and style no problems with cut but left Saks with bright orange roots. After repeated attempts to rectify this she was still forced to attend a party with a scarf on her head. To add insult to injury when ringing the salon a recorded message spoke regarding the expert colourant service provided by SAKS. Not in this case !!!

Saks hairdressers in Wimbledon (The Broadway) is fantastic. Great atmosphere, professional attitude, but most of all: talented hair stylists who know what they're doing.

Saks Hairdressers in Southampton High Street is not a place to visit if you want a good haircut and colour by a professional stylist who knows what they are doing. My hair cut was appallingly bad and the colour was atrocious. The staff are not overly bright and are rude to the point of being obnoxious. DO NOT EVER VISIT.
