Booked one evening a flights and hotel package to Barcelona when during the payment process it crashed yet they still took my money. Trying to get a refund. All customer service is in India, not helpful and I am upset because they have ruined my holiday as I need the money to book another holiday. Avoid this website. “Appalling customer service”

“Stay away”

Like others my reservation was cancelled one day before arrival without reason. On other websites the hotel was sold out so I think they overbooked it and I reserved something that was not available. Furthermore the reimbursement was not complete, maybe due to some fee. I gave a try but it is better to stick to some more reliable travel website… Read Full Review

I have been trying to get a reply for 6 days, almost 9hr on the telephone and 13 different people and still no answer to my enquiry why have I paid for Virgin Atlantic flights and when my money has been taken put me on a Delta Flight which I could have booked myself and saved £400.00. “Can't deliver”

I booked my theatre tickets through last minute. I had booked flights and accommodation via a different company. I booked theatre tickets 6 weeks in advance for the lion king in new york, (bearing in mind it's a birthday present) The ticket confirmation advised it will be ready for pick up a hour before the show starts. I booked a weekend away for my. Family 8weeks before we went as a surprise for my sons birthday. We arrived at the mecure in Manchester to be told that the booking had been cancelled and they emailed me 14 hours before arrival I did not see this. I have just reviewed a 'well know Skyscraper site' which turned out to be a total waste of time and I can confirm Lastminute is the same. Having been searching for a flight for 3 weeks with prices not being as displayed once you click on them (and up to £200+ more). Same here. on 22nd august 2014, I booked and paid in full £760 for a 4 day break for 2 in spain depart date 28th august. They took payment and said confirmation and all the information i need will be sent to my email. A hour passed no email so i called them up again asked if they have my correct email as i still aint received any confirmation, lastminute.com advised me it could take upto 24hr to receive confirmation. at 9pm that evening i received an email from lowcost (last minute,com aviation team). The email stated that the flight booked has failed, and i was to phone them on the number then given on the email. I called them straight way, the aviation then told me i would need to pay an extra £350, for the flight price has reason. I refused to pay extra so the holiday had to be canceled and i was made to believe i should get a full refund and it could take upto 48hrs. today is 26th august 2014, I have yet to receive my refund. I called them today, and they said it could take 3-5 days for it to show in my account, as my refund was processed on the 25th august 2014.

“Problem with booking system, customer service would...”

I've recently had some shockingly poor customer service from Lastminute.com. There was a problem with the flight booking which I thankfully spotted before turning up at the airport, but after speaking to four different Lastminute.com customer service representatives I have been told that they won't fix the issue. “no refund for passenger admitted to hospital after stroke”

The tickets were booked for travel on 28 July 2014, 1 adult, 46 years old, 1 child 12 years old and 1 child of 11 years of age. The adult was admitted to hospital after suffering a stroke. I contacted lastminuted.com and the only refund offered was £150. The initial booking fee paid was £1,444. Now is this ridiculous or what?!! I booked four rooms back in February this year for 12th July for one night at The Carrington House Hotel in Bournemouth. “Rip Off merchants!!”

Booked hotel for 2 nights through lastminute.com price was £261 for the two nights room only. Phoned hotel to add in breakfast and was £10 extra per person per day making toatal cost £301. Price direct through hotel wss £215 including breakfast!!! Cost of booking a special offer 'secret location' hotel was the same as walking in off the street and the wrong type of room was booked by last minute incurring an extra cost. The so called customer care team choose not to understand English when confronted with their own contradictory statements.
