General comments: Some days ago I tried to book a flight to Brazil. While I was heading towards the end of the booking procedure - i.e. I gave my credit card details already - the website got stuck. I looked at my credit card account and found out that the money had been already grabbed. I called the customer service to know if I got the flight and they told me that there was no booking because actually the flight displayed on the website was no longer available. In summary, (i) the information displayed was not reliable and (ii) which is simply outrageous, they grabbed the money without providing the ticket!!! The customer service told me that the money have been reverted to my account but it's gonna take 8 working days. Hopefully I will get the money back in the end. Lastminute.com - never again!

Booked a hotel in London in November 2008. Marriott Park Lane. Booking went through, everything was fine. Confirmation of the deal arrived.
Then, after two days, LastMinute.com cancelled the deal and as far as I am aware they had not tried to contact me at all.
I am an experienced traveller, and have used the internet for years when it comes to plan trips for me and my family. This has never happened to me before. So I say: I do not recomemnd LastMminute.com.
Rebooked the hotel through Travelo ...

1st - thought the holiday representative could have been more helpful.
2nd - the flight times are unknown when I booked my holiday it seemed.
I thought our holiday representative in Turkey was very unhelpful, difficult to contact, did not meet us and didn't explain anything I felt. Therefore I do not recommend Last Minute.com

If you must book with lastminute be very aware of this issue. If you check on internet forums and review sites you will see that thousands of people have had this problem. Apparently I signed up for some kind of offer unknowingly...something to do with ticking or unticking a box when I made my lastminute.com booking!
If you have ever booked anything through lastminute.com I suggest you check your credit card statements immediately.

I bought a flight ticket for Italy 6 month ago. The trip features were: 16 hours of flight and only one stop.
Three weeks ago they sent me an e-mail saying that my trip plan had been changed.. the new features were: 24 hours of flight! Two stops, and at the second stop I've to wait for 8 hours! I tried making a hotel booking on Lastminute.com, but was told on the checkout pages that there was a technical error and that my card had not been debited, and suggestd I try again. After multiple attempts, I gave up, only to find out later from my bank that some charges had been made.

I was not happy with their service, I do not recommend Last Minute.com. I arranged 2 separate flights in China. After the website kept crashing for me, I was told that paper only tickets were available. These were then sent by courier to my home address, despite a specific request that they be sent to work. I had a very bad experience with last min Bombay. Wrong information was given and 2 cards where blocked for more than 1800 pounds as far as I am concerned. All the informations given to me was wrong in my opinion. I am extremely disappointed with the service and would share this bad experience with everyone I know. I make a lot of booking both Air and hotel and do not recommend Lastminute.com

I booked a flight through lastminute.com, but while we were waiting to board, the flight was cancelled. Trying to get a refund out of lastminute.com is like trying to get blood from a stone. They are impossible to get hold of. Although I have an e-mail from the airline confirming that the flight was cancelled, lastminute tell me that it was not. I have a boarding card, baggage receipt etc., but lastminute say I did not turn up for the flight.

Very poor and unhelpful customer service in my experience.
Lastminute.com arranged a wedding room for us via their website, the advertised room was nothing like the actual room as far as I am concerned. It was so small we had to move, the night before our wedding! Because we didn't call within 24 hours (which fell on our wedding day itself), in my opinion they have refused to even answer correspondence and we are still (6 months on) trying to get the refund. I purchased flight + hotel; received confirmation, only to get a phonecall hours later which informed me that the flight tickets that I had purchased were no longer available. I had to pay more than I'd initially agreed to, and then I still had to call back in order for them to send me the new e-ticket!

I spoke to someone who didn't even speak English to a standard that someone in sales should be speaking. then i was informed of my choice of reservation that it was a one night stay over, but after i had booked the trip, and they had gladly taken my money, even though i had to repeat all my details countless times, I was eventually sent my receipt email to my email address. I then released that the package i had bought was only a day spa trip, after I had repeatedly requested a night stay.
