    I booked through the secret rooms section for a business trip to London. I never received confirmation of my order so did not know where I was staying! All I had was an address so the taxi driver had to find it. After lots of phone calls I still cannot get an order confirmation so that I can claim the money back from my employers. Couldnt fault the hotel but I am out of pocket! Would never book with lastminute.com again and I recommend nobody else does if it for work. Are they not breaking the law by not issuing receipts if they are VAT registered in the UK? (which they say they are?)

    Lastminute.com did not remember our search criteria so we had to re-enter our requirements dozens of times when looking for a short break. The details of the hotel we finally selected were minimal and failed to state that it was next to a noisey street. When requesting our details for airline e-tickets it was not clear if we needed to fill in just our first name or all our first names.     when people like lastminute.com book accomodation transfers and flights, they package them together for YOU, the customer. If a customer needs to cancel a holiday the only way they will get it done free of charge is if they cancel within 24hours, lastminute.com and others buy rooms from hotels, so when they sell them to a customer and the customer cancels, the hotel charges lastminute.com. Are they going to pay because you booked a holiday you can no longer travel on? A little help people, alway ...

    I received a Last Minute experience voucher as a present - lots of agro getting it converted to actual voucher we could use which still didn't cover the basic cost of the experience .

    We booked a Holiday through last minute .com, To old palace resort sahl hasheesh Hurghada it's was so easy straight forward, the staff on the phone was helpful we experienced no problems what so ever. We just had to download our tickets, and then went to the airport all with no fuss. The plane was lovely and large with quite a bit of leg room we flew with monarch 330.

    Painful experience. I wouldn't recommend Last Minute to my worst enemy. I booked a white water rafting trip to find out the day before it was cancelled. I had already booked a car and hotel. I have tried numerous times to get a refund and it has proven to be very difficult. A classic example of a company taken your money and not following up with the customer. Terrible customer service!     I am very disappointed with lastminute.com. I booked an 'experience' for my wife for Mother's day which included a goodie bag and bubbly but we did not receive this even though we paid over the odds extra in addition to the experience.

    Two emails were ignored after which I followed up with 'phone calls. They then had the cheek to try and get ME to 'phone the supplier to request the items or a refund. I've refused to do this and told them that as my contract was with them it is their responsibil ...

    Lastminute.com can be summed up in three simple words......Waste of space. We booked two nights accommodation through them on 02/07/09 (from 18/07/09). Credit card charged 03/07/09. Heard nothing by 06/07/09. Checked with the Hotel who had not received a booking (in fact they had been fully booked for some months and had no rooms).     They are just terrible. Me and my wife booked hotel from lastminute.com they have taken money and then sent an email to the hotel that my card was stolen and canceled the booking. They even tried to call the police. NEVER BOOK FROM LASTMINUTE.COM !!!!!!!

    Booked a flight online with my own card. All went through smoothly. Next day they send me a email saying card security failed and then the order cancelled. The worst it takes more than ten days to get the refund. I had the worst online purchase from lastminute.com

    After my booking was confirmed and i found out the name of my hotel- i did a quick search and within 1 minute, found 2 websites who offered my a cheaper deal. I am mighty peeved off. I am now waiting for an answer from them.

    I booked two theatre tickets on lastminute.com - the payment was accepted and we planned our Saturday night out, only to be called the next day and told the tickets didn't actually exist and our card would be refunded. Erm.....

    I booked flights from Ireland to Spain via London and then realised I had to travel from gatwick to heathrow in half an hour including baggage collection. I phoned and complained that this was impossible and why had this package been sold (one search, one transaction) and they said I should have read the details more carefully and refused to change the second flight.     Get this.... I do not travel. I stay close to home since the economy has left my husband out of a job after 18 years of dedication with his company.     Some days ago I tried to book a flight to Brazil. While I was heading towards the end of the booking procedure - i.e. I gave my credit card details already - the website got stuck. I looked at my credit card account and found out that the money had been already grabbed.     Booked a hotel in London in November 2008. Marriott Park Lane. Booking went through, everything was fine. Confirmation of the deal arrived.
    Then, after two days, LastMinute.com cancelled the deal and as far as I am aware they had not tried to contact me at all.
    I am an experienced traveller, and have used the internet for years when it comes to plan trips for me and my family. This has never happened to me before. So I say: I do not recomemnd LastMminute.com.

    1st - thought the holiday representative could have been more helpful.
    2nd - the flight times are unknown when I booked my holiday it seemed.
    I thought our holiday representative in Turkey was very unhelpful, difficult to contact, did not meet us and didn't explain anything I felt. Therefore I do not recommend Last Minute.com
