    Booked a flight online with my own card. All went through smoothly. Next day they send me a email saying card security failed and then the order cancelled. The worst it takes more than ten days to get the refund. I had the worst online purchase from lastminute.com

    After my booking was confirmed and i found out the name of my hotel- i did a quick search and within 1 minute, found 2 websites who offered my a cheaper deal. I am mighty peeved off. I am now waiting for an answer from them.
    I go on holidays abroad/uk 3 or 4 times a year and know my bargains. I haven't used lastminute for at least a year because i have always found better deal elsewhere. However, i thought it had improved so thought i give it a try and save myself some hassle- but it looks like ...

    I booked two theatre tickets on lastminute.com - the payment was accepted and we planned our Saturday night out, only to be called the next day and told the tickets didn't actually exist and our card would be refunded. Erm.....

    I booked flights from Ireland to Spain via London and then realised I had to travel from gatwick to heathrow in half an hour including baggage collection. I phoned and complained that this was impossible and why had this package been sold (one search, one transaction) and they said I should have read the details more carefully and refused to change the second flight. Would NEVER use again

    My husband booked a spa break for my xmas present, we received the email confirmation with a booking reference and instructions to ring the hotel direct to book the inclusive spa treatments before we arrived.I rang the hotel a week before we were due to travel only to find they had no trace of our booking.     Get this.... I do not travel. I stay close to home since the economy has left my husband out of a job after 18 years of dedication with his company.     Some days ago I tried to book a flight to Brazil. While I was heading towards the end of the booking procedure - i.e. I gave my credit card details already - the website got stuck. I looked at my credit card account and found out that the money had been already grabbed. I called the customer service to know if I got the flight and they told me that there was no booking because actually the flight displayed on the website was no longer available.     Booked a hotel in London in November 2008. Marriott Park Lane. Booking went through, everything was fine. Confirmation of the deal arrived.
    Then, after two days, LastMinute.com cancelled the deal and as far as I am aware they had not tried to contact me at all.
    I am an experienced traveller, and have used the internet for years when it comes to plan trips for me and my family. This has never happened to me before. So I say: I do not recomemnd LastMminute.com.

    I would choose to use lastminute again as we got a good deal with the hotel and flight combined.

    1st - thought the holiday representative could have been more helpful.
    2nd - the flight times are unknown when I booked my holiday it seemed.
    I thought our holiday representative in Turkey was very unhelpful, difficult to contact, did not meet us and didn't explain anything I felt. Therefore I do not recommend Last Minute.com

    If you must book with lastminute be very aware of this issue. If you check on internet forums and review sites you will see that thousands of people have had this problem. Apparently I signed up for some kind of offer unknowingly...something to do with ticking or unticking a box when I made my lastminute.com booking!
    If you have ever booked anything through lastminute.com I suggest you check your credit card statements immediately.

    I bought a flight ticket for Italy 6 month ago. The trip features were: 16 hours of flight and only one stop.
    Three weeks ago they sent me an e-mail saying that my trip plan had been changed.. the new features were: 24 hours of flight! Two stops, and at the second stop I've to wait for 8 hours!     I tried making a hotel booking on Lastminute.com, but was told on the checkout pages that there was a technical error and that my card had not been debited, and suggestd I try again. After multiple attempts, I gave up, only to find out later from my bank that some charges had been made.

    I'm trying to be fair here but to be honest... no good points I can think of. Virtually everything in my experience was non-refundable.Customer Service has been beyond my personal belief as

    I was not happy with their service, I do not recommend Last Minute.com. I arranged 2 separate flights in China. After the website kept crashing for me, I was told that paper only tickets were available. These were then sent by courier to my home address, despite a specific request that they be sent to work.     I had a very bad experience with last min Bombay. Wrong information was given and 2 cards where blocked for more than 1800 pounds as far as I am concerned. All the informations given to me was wrong in my opinion. I am extremely disappointed with the service and would share this bad experience with everyone I know. I make a lot of booking both Air and hotel and do not recommend Lastminute.com

    I booked a flight through lastminute.com, but while we were waiting to board, the flight was cancelled. Trying to get a refund out of lastminute.com is like trying to get blood from a stone. They are impossible to get hold of. Although I have an e-mail from the airline confirming that the flight was cancelled, lastminute tell me that it was not. I have a boarding card, baggage receipt etc., but lastminute say I did not turn up for the flight.
