“Be aware of website default when booking 2 rooms ”

I booked 2 rooms and in the drop down box indicated all inclusive. I wrong assumed this would apply to both rooms. However when I recieved the confirmation only one room was all inclusive and the other was half board. I realised immediately but when I rang them a few hours later. There was no option to up grade the room.....but a £76 to cancel before rebooking at the latest price with the all inclusive option. “DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!”

I tried to cancel my reservations because I found a flight from the airline at $430 cheaper. I called to cancel, but was told that all I had to do was take a screen shot of the cheaper price, email it to them, and they would match it. I was also told that if I wanted to cancel, It would cost me $60. I promptly emailed them the screen shot. “Penalty for error”

On Saturday I booked to fly to Istanbul from Teesside for the Gallipoli Anniversary commemoration at Cape Helles. My flight arrives late in the evening, so I tried to book a room at WOW Airport Hotel for that night only. When I got the ebookers confirmation, I saw that I was booked in for three nights. “After years of using the site I had a problem...”

I have booked lots of holidays via Ebookers and never had a problem. I recently booked a flight and car. On collecting the car the clerk informed us there was nothing to pay so I signed the agreement thining it was just to release the vehicle and showing what was covered. On returning home we had a £133 charge for additional cover that was not discussed with us. “Never Book from Ebookers”

I booked a ticket form them and they got the name order wrong and I highlighted to them and the CS assure me it is okay. Airline refuse to issue boarding pass and when called them, there is nothing they can do. Told us to purchase a new ticket and cancel the booking. When issuing refund - it was 20% less and charge us for cancellation charges 25pound.... In return we have to suffer loss with this company and end up purchase a last minute ticket which is so much higher. Horrible online air… Read Full Review

On Jan. 9 I called to book a wheelchair and your employee was perfect. However, I received an email from you suggesting I check in now for a flight on Jan 18 and it was IMPOSSIBLE. “The flight price is inconsistent.”

I was looking for a flight from Sydney, Australia to Guangzhou, China. Initially, the ticket I wanted to purchase was around AU$400, and I didn't purchase any other services or insurances, but when it came to payment section, the price suddenly changed to $530. I tried booking a ticket to India and since the price on this website was cheap and I needed a ticket for tomorrow, I booked a ticket. I filled out some forms and made sure that I didn't choose an insurance. I filled in my debit card details and once I clicked on 'Book', the screen got blank. I tried refreshing but nothing worked. “Baggage allowance”

I don't think it can get any worse. I booked british airways two tickets with ebookers and was advertised two 23 kg check in allowance but after paying for tickets £1750 approx found out at the last minute I have only one bag allowance instead of two. “Unreliable, Incompetent,”

I filed a case with my bank and they started investigation, however ebookers are not willing to provide any details such as IP address from which the unauthorized booking was made with my misspelled name on it etc. and why they didn't ask for any more details besides that while booking was made. “Disgraceful customer service”

Having booked a hotel room in London through ebookers I attempted to check-in only to be told by the hotel that they were fully booked and my reservation had been cancelled! Contacted ebookers who washed their hands of any obligation other than a refund, blaming the hotel (who in turn blamed ebookers). Bottom line is don't expect to get a room,even if ebookers take money from your account, and don't expect anything other than 'sorry' afterwards - even if that means you are left as a distressed… Read Full Review

“DISHONEST”

Having made a flight booking on behalf of 3 of us, one of the tickets needed to have a name change for which I was charged £144.81. I was then told the ticket required to be cancelled and reissued and for this I was told the cost of the cancelled ticket would be credited to my account and the cost of the new ticket would be simultaneously debited. I accidentally Keyed in the wrong dates (Human Error) with Hotels Combined and it has been a nightmare ever since to try and get it changed and when I did and rebooked again they charged me EXTRA it cost me over $100 in phone calls to try and explain what happened!!! Arrived at hotel and no booking record at all, asked for a hotel as we were stranded in Marrakech, and gave us an APPALLING one. Tried to ask for a better more decent hotel, but would not budge. “What a nightmare!”

Untill now I never thought it was possible to experience such terrible service. Tried booking 4 flight tickets, payment did not go through, tickets were not issued however funds on my card were unnecessarily blocked for a month. It took over a week of negotiations to get funds unblock. This was only made possible thanks to the intervention of my bank manager, since ebookers were adamant that they were not responsible. Avoid ebookers. My husband and I booked a hotel along with some other friends under a separate booking. I had an online chat with a member of their team for 50 minutes, to make sure I was getting the holiday I was paying for. When we arrived at the hotel we had major problems for 2 hours. ebookers had only sent through the voucher for full board when we had booked all inclusive (This was quite clearly stated on our booking). “It may go well, but WHEN IT GOES WRONG, IT GOES VERY WRONG”
