I tried booking a ticket to India and since the price on this website was cheap and I needed a ticket for tomorrow, I booked a ticket. I filled out some forms and made sure that I didn't choose an insurance. I filled in my debit card details and once I clicked on 'Book', the screen got blank. I tried refreshing but nothing worked. “Baggage allowance”

I don't think it can get any worse. I booked british airways two tickets with ebookers and was advertised two 23 kg check in allowance but after paying for tickets £1750 approx found out at the last minute I have only one bag allowance instead of two. I have bought similar tickets for British airways with tickets to India and had two bags allowance 23kg. When I rang ebookers they just said sorry and put the phone down. “Unreliable, Incompetent,”

I filed a case with my bank and they started investigation, however ebookers are not willing to provide any details such as IP address from which the unauthorized booking was made with my misspelled name on it etc. and why they didn't ask for any more details besides that while booking was made. “Disgraceful customer service”

Having booked a hotel room in London through ebookers I attempted to check-in only to be told by the hotel that they were fully booked and my reservation had been cancelled! Contacted ebookers who washed their hands of any obligation other than a refund, blaming the hotel (who in turn blamed ebookers). Bottom line is don't expect to get a room,even if ebookers take money from your account, and don't expect anything other than 'sorry' afterwards - even if that means you are left as a distressed… Read Full Review

“DISHONEST”

Having made a flight booking on behalf of 3 of us, one of the tickets needed to have a name change for which I was charged £144.81. I was then told the ticket required to be cancelled and reissued and for this I was told the cost of the cancelled ticket would be credited to my account and the cost of the new ticket would be simultaneously debited. I accidentally Keyed in the wrong dates (Human Error) with Hotels Combined and it has been a nightmare ever since to try and get it changed and when I did and rebooked again they charged me EXTRA it cost me over $100 in phone calls to try and explain what happened!!! “APPALLING ”

Arrived at hotel and no booking record at all, asked for a hotel as we were stranded in Marrakech, and gave us an APPALLING one. Tried to ask for a better more decent hotel, but would not budge. “What a nightmare!”

Untill now I never thought it was possible to experience such terrible service. Tried booking 4 flight tickets, payment did not go through, tickets were not issued however funds on my card were unnecessarily blocked for a month. It took over a week of negotiations to get funds unblock. This was only made possible thanks to the intervention of my bank manager, since ebookers were adamant that they were not responsible. “DISASTER!”

Avoid ebookers. My husband and I booked a hotel along with some other friends under a separate booking. I had an online chat with a member of their team for 50 minutes, to make sure I was getting the holiday I was paying for. When we arrived at the hotel we had major problems for 2 hours. ebookers had only sent through the voucher for full board when we had booked all inclusive (This was quite clearly stated on our booking). “It may go well, but WHEN IT GOES WRONG, IT GOES VERY WRONG”

“Is this company for real?”

I have tried on several occasions to book a flight next summer for a family of 5 on the company's website. Each time their system tells me that my credit card payment has been declined. I phone the bank and the bank tells me that there is no block on my account. This went on four times. I used two different cards from two different banks on two occasions each time. “higher price than showed on the site and wrong destination”

The 18th of november, I was looking for flights on the website. I was looking for 3 tickets to bring my family to costa rica for christmas holidays. “People giving 5 stars are scamming you!”

After a problem with the website... Whenever I click on a ticket / price...the page loaded and said sorry this price is no longer available, and showed a more expensive price... Hello there, I had the same problem the 18th of november.
I was looking for 3 tickets to bring my family to costa rica for christmas holiday. Every time I clicked on the Landing Page with a price, it took me to another Landing Page with a much higher price.
I repeated the process during 3 hours, and finally I booked the 3 tickets to the expensive price. When I received the confirmation email it was for the WRONG DESTINATION.
I called the Customer Service, that told me that they are going to proceed to a website analysis. 30 min after I received a 1 line email saying that there were no bug on the website. Called them again & they told me that the tickets were not cancelable or refundable. I escalated the issue to the Call Center based in India, they didn't care at all. They finally ended up with the "solution" to change the route for only 5000€, when tickets online are at 700€ on any other websites. I lost 2653€ and I now have to book 3 other tickets. I truly don't recommend this website to anyone, and I will make sure to spread the word on ALL the review websites, ALL my friends, colleagues, and other travelers on the web.

“Terrible!! ”

I had just booked my flight with ebookers.com in October for my vacation in November of 2013. I as we all know the site has their prices in Pounds. I had used their currency converter on their website and 211 Pounds came out to $340 Canadian Dollars, so I booked thinking I was getting a great deal. So the next day I had called my credit card company just to see how much I was charged. It turned out that I was charged $379 Canadian Dollars and not the $340 their currency converter told me. “AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE”

Do not use this company for booking flights. i have tried to book flights from via the .com website. First time i spent 20-30 minutes filling in all required details to get an error message at the end however the company took the money out of my credit card. I tried again by phoning the call centre and after 45 minutes going through all details i was told there was a error and the booking didn't go through. “Ebookers cheated me”

Ebookers sent me a ticket with the wrong last name. First ebookers said they would fix it, then did, nothing, and when I pushed refused to do anything. They blamed it on Air France and security policy in the US (our destination). This is the problem with ebookers: as an intermediary they can blame everything on somebody else. I had to eat the cost of the ticket they issued for a fictitious person and buy a new one at a much higher fare. It's not worth it to use ebookers. It's not convenient… Read Full Review
