I booked 5 tickets to Dubai with ebookers. Ebookers got the names of the passengers wrong on the ticket, fault of the booking clerk, whose English was really poor. I contacted them immediately to inform them of the error. After phoning them 10 times, I managed to get them to admit there error and give me a refund, this was on the 12th August 2008, and upto today 25th August 2008, I have still not recieved my money back, which is £1825.50 I have had to cancel my holiday all because of them.

I cancelled a flight in November 2007 with Ebookers, I have phoned them on 7 different occasions for my refund of taxes which I believe I am entitled to. Each time I speak to a sales adviser they promise me I will receive this within 7 - 14 days, I have also emailed them requesting a refund. Now its the 31/07/2008 and I am still awaiting the refund, thats what I call very bad and unprofessional service. I advised people to say clear from this company.

We booked a trip around 3,000 for 3 nights in a 5 star hotel towards US. All was confirmed via mail and suddenly we noticed that they redraw the hotel room. After 7 days phone contact with their client desk they wanted to make a last minute adjustment and put us in a 4 stars hotel. I booked a car hire with them and realized after 45 min that I've put the wrong time (9:00 instead of 17:00) I called and been told that's its too late (23:00) to change in the system and contact the provider (Europcar) and I should contact Europcar myself ?!??. I booked a motel in the US. They advertised as 50% to 75% off regular rates. However, when I found how much they had deducted from my credit card, it was more than twice what I had been quoted. I wrote to the credit card company and was told that this was UK rates. How was I supposed to know. I am writing this so no one else will make the same mistake. I do not recommend E Bookers.com to book motels or flights for you or you will pay twice the rate.

Customer services were unhelpful in my opinion. Instead of responding to my complaint (legitimate) I was told that they check their prices regularly... I've personally heard that one before! Do not recommend E Bookers.com

use these guys at your own risk , terrible terrible customer service, communication breakdowns due to relocation of call centres. I am in travel myself which usually makes it easier for me to speak to others in the same industry ( but my parter booked through ebookers as a surprise trip ) . but no , totally impossible, so I feel sorry for anyone else. Pay a little more to book with a better company or pay the same and book with a better company.

1/ A website that is extremely misleading and changes passenger details by itself and lets the customer pay the price of a new ticket!2/ Indian call center with no natural empathy, idea of the market or the people of the UK.3/ Poorly run business with clear as mud policy.
I will never use Ebookers.com again, and I do not recommend this Travel Web site.

I had problems with my debit card online when booking and was worried I would loose the holiday I had chosen because it was such a good price. I 'phoned Ebookers and expected to have to wait ages to get through but was connected quite quickly to a very kind person who was absolutely wonderful - she was very kind and she quickly and efficiently sorted out the problem for me she really is a credit to Ebookers and I would certainly book my next holiday through her. Well recommend ebookers.com

Use ebookers at your own risk. If you have any sort of problem with your flights, you are on your own - customer support send only standard replies. My return flight reservations were canceled and the airline told me to contact ebookers. All ebookers would say was that the booking looked OK on their system. They would not talk to the airline to sort it out. When I eventually gave them enough evidence to convince them there was a real problem, they failed to reply for over 24 hours. It turned out ...

If I was to use Ebookers again I would make sure I don't make any mistakes as I feel in my experience I didnt receive enough help to work out how to get a refund, thats if you even can? I made a booking and on the confirmation email, I realized I had made a mistake on the dates. I call them up right away but in my opinion it took me ages to get through. I would never recommend ebookers to anybody, due to the incompetent and unhelpful "Costumer Service" you receive from an Indian call center. They clearly have no interest in a good reputation and we will contact ABTA.

Room not as described - Then they do not respond to my emails apart from to say it will be dealt with within 48 hours. Most unresponsive company I have ever dealt with.A potential lifelong customer. Never again.

The refund for my ticket cost me a lot of time and nerves. Ebookers would repeatedly fail to pass important information on to me e.g. the airline needed a medical proof.Every time you call you will get an another agent and you will have to start from scratch, it is nerve wrecking.

For £100 p/room you at least expect a room up to standard, don't you? We arrived at the hotel at 22:30. The floor tiles in the bathroom wasn't done and there was rat poison in the corner of the bathroom! As we went to bed, we found that the base of the bed was non existing.. i booked 4 return tickets to thailand via abu daby the ticket i booked was a 2 hr stop but turns out i have a 14 hr stop with 2 small children when i spoke to ebookers i was told that all they could do was give me a refund that would take 10-12 weeks no good two weeks before my holiday will never use them again.
