Have you seen the Elektra trailer? Doesn't it look so great? Well maybe you should know; it isn't! I thought this movie was going to be so good because the trailer looked absolutely amazing. But then I saw the movie and it wasn't that great. Elektra is some sort of a sequel to the hot popular flick Daredevil; only with less storyline. The action is fairly decent for a movie that's only rated M, but it's completely bloodless. The story is about Elektra - the chick from Daredevil who's back in her own movie. After she catches a teenage girl trying to steal from her house, and she chucks the girl out, she eventually ends up meeting the girl's father, and gets friendly with their family. The girl considers Elektra as her idol, because Elektra seems to have supernatural talents - and she demonstrates her very fast movement as one of them in front of the girl. But a large group of men are after these two. Why? It doesn't make sense - isn't Abbey's father just a normal working man? Or so he says... There are some twists in this action flick, perhaps not nearly as good as it's made out to be in the trailers, and I'd only recommend it if you paid little money for it. More for the guys than the girls.

Although Elektra seemed more of a "bloke" action film it eneded up being quite the opposite. I went to see it at the cinema with my boyfriend and he lost interest yet I was really into it. There's lots of fighting action, weird animals that come out of tattoos, but also a good storyline. I'd recommend it to everyone if it sounds like your sort of thing.
