I've had my CHI now for over 2 years and it still works perfectly. (I hope I have not jinxed myself!) :)

I haven't had major problems with mine and I'm a hairdresser. CHi does have a 2 year warranty on their flat irons. Keep the box and the receipt in your trunk after you buy it if it doesn't work as well by two years they will replace it.

The Chi Turbo 1" Flat Iron is awesome for any type of hair. Love the straightener, hate that they break so easily, especially when they're so expensive. Many Chi's stop working after a year or so of heavy use.

I'm mad that I didn't know I was paying heavily for a hair straightener that gave up so quick. I've had my chi for about two years and treated it with care. A couple of weeks ago the light went out and it stopped heating up!

Too bad the CHI Turbo 1" Flat Iron hair straightener is so expensive. If they weren't I would just keep replacing it.

Even though it doesn't last long I am definitely going to get another!

It worked well on my hair but the on/off switch on the CHI Turbo 1" Flat Iron is very flimsy and it broke off. I would not recommend a CHI product for any type of regular use, it won't last. Not worth the money when it only lasts for 3 months. Very disappointing!

Very very quick to heat, easy to use and light weight. I have used a lot of the top brands of hair straighteners ie, GHD Babyliss.... and can quite easily say that CHI Turbo 1" Flat Iron beats them hands down, quite obvious that these are professional straighteners

CHI Turbo 1" Flat Iron: You can use the iron to flip hair up or curl it under with a twist of the wrist. The ceramic plates seal in natural moisture. The ceramic coated paddles help prevent scorching hair color and help to reduce styling product build-up.
Featuring an extra long swivel cord to prevent tangling, the CHI has a concealed on-off switch inside the handle to prevent accidentally turning the unit off when in use. The heat paddles are recessed from the edges to prevent skin burns. Will ...
