Good Points: None, other than the price of some of their products.
Bad Points: Poor and amateur website, with small amounts of product information.
Poor communication, no telephone contact, and strange e-mail contact.
No information on dispatching, and no reply to e-mails.
General comments: I purchased Phoenix Nights series 1 and 2 from DVD's on the Web (www.dvdsontheweb.co.uk) over a week ago, and have had no contact from them other than the automated order information.
I have tried to contact them about 20 times through all of their email domains/addresses, and I have received no reply, and no information regarding my order.
It is really poor, but luckily they have not taken the money for the purchase. I would like to believe that they would not take the money for an unfulfilled order in the future.
I have had to purchase the items from TreeDVD, who are a new, and a great company that I would recommend.

DVDs on the Web www.dvdsontheweb.co.uk - I order 8 DVDs at excellent prices last Friday, I was advised that 7 were despatched on Monday and I have received 6 this morning, Wednesday. I received an e-mail advising me that the remaining DVD is at present out of stock but should appear in the week or so.- Read fragrant farmer's review (61 words)

Well I was honestly a bit worried about using www.dvdsontheweb.co.uk after reading other reviews, and sure enough customers aren't going to get any great sense of dialogue with dvdsontheweb. Automated emails are not particularly informative and delivery estimates are 'optimistic'. But let's face it, the discounts are amazing and in my experience this store delivers what it advertises ... we all know that DVD boxsets are chronically overpriced and this store offers huge discounts (I got Robin of ...- Read sdholz's review (154 words)

I ordered a DVD from DVDs on the Web as it was the cheapest by far, offering free delivery. I think the delivery is by carrier pigeon because I am still waiting for it, and frankly, i don't think it is ever going to arrive. I am quite concerned that I have been conned out of my money. They do not have a contact number on their website, and after searching yell.co.uk for their telephone number, all I got was an automated message telling me to email them if there are any problems. Boycott this sit ...- Read proteinshake's review (145 words)

DVDs on the Web: In my experience delivery within their suggested time was not met. They dispatched the item 3 days after I ordered and as if thats not bad enough here I am some 2 and a bit weeks later and still nothing! Their so called customer service are unhelpful and the post office only considers items lost after 15 working days. I feel that this is just not good enough!
They also had very poor warnings on xmas delivery on home page, even though I visited via kelkoo and ordered without eve ...- Read Geord's review (120 words)
