Awesome sound quality when paired up with good ear-buds - more than makes up for the very annoying bad points!!

I've had reinstall the firmware pretty much every month since I bought it, because the damn thing keeps losing my music. It also has no fast-forward feature (but you can skip tracks)

Packard Bell AudioDream sounds so good I can manage to see the past it's massive flaws. Maybe that says more about me than the mp3 player itself. Sounds great - but you will have to invest in some d ...

All in all a good buy. I hate ipods as they are highly overated. this is a great mp3 player. I think the £10 i spent on my one was worth every penny. I would recomend this product to a friend.

With replacement headphones (I used JVC Gummies) this has proved to be an excellent little player. It's been dropped; kicked; sat on and still refuses to break (unlike some other "famous" brands that seem to give up the ghost if you sneeze at them),

I bought this in Dixons, and have never been happy with it. It always starts at the start when you turn it on, which seems to take forever. The menu system is unwieldy, and downright illogical. And for gods sake don't lose your USB lead!
Basically don't buy one of these.

I bought the Packard Bell AudioDream 1GB when I was looking for a lightweight MP3 player to listen to whilst out riding my bike and it has been great. Really easy to upload songs, just plug it in and drag and drop. There have been complaints about the navigation of menus, but I found after a couple of times it became instinctive and I use it without even taking it out of my pocket now. The sound quality is excellent, the only reason I gave it an 8 rather than 9 is that there are even better soun ...

I bought my Packard Bell AudioDream MP3 player when they first arrived, and I wish I didn't! 18 months down the line, after little use, it's now dead, and this is the killer: Packard Bell don't supply or replace the battery in this unit, so it's now useless. Buy an iPod.

Overall this Packard Bell AudioDream mp3 player is pretty good buy suddenly stopped working. The error read *no files* which completely confused me. If you encounter any problems do the following: plug the thing in, open it on my computer, right click it and click on Format which will erase all files. Then download some songs onto it and it should work. If the computer doesn't let you format the player then try it on another computer. If all this doesn't work re-install the firmware or refer t ...

I understand that some of the earlier Packard Bell AudioDream MP3 models may have experienced problems however I downloaded the patches (from the packard bell web site ) straight away and have never experienced such problems.
I would recommend this mp3 player to anybody!

Basically, I would not recommend buying the Packard Bell AudioDream 1GB MP3 player. Yes, it looks good and it's small, but they (along with it being an MP3 player) are its only positive points.

The Navigation is illogical and a real pain in the backside, but the single worst feature is that every time it turns on it starts on the first track. I have 500 tracks on it, yet I have to navigate to today's starting point every time I use it.

The lead to connect it to a PC is a very rare USB conn ...

Please, is there any chance of fixing the Packard Bell AudioDream 1GB. It freezes whenever it feels like.. is horrible. And it doesn't work properly sometimes.

The Packard Bell AudioDream MP3 player is an utterly gorgeous device. It has a great 'metal' look and feel, and the tiny screen is beautifully clear, also the sound quality is superb. I got it for a friend, so I didn't use the supplied headphones, but on standard dynamic units the volume is fine at about half-setting.

Apparently there are software issues with early ones, and you need to do a firmware update when you get it out of the box, but this done, it goes flawlessly. The manual is total ...

I have found the Packard Bell AudioDream MP3 player to be a very functional MP3 player due to its size and weight. It is easy to keep on your person whilst doing tasks such as going out. I haven't found a problem with the sound on it. The only problem for me is the colour! Why can't I get a new flashy case for it (like green or others, as it shows on the box)? Overall I would rate it as a good MP3 player - if you look after it that is.

Where do I begin? It has never really worked properly, and kind of does its own thing when it is working. Periodically it switches itself off, even when newly charged, but I think it may now have died for the last time!

The Packard Bell AudioDream 1GB MP3 Player has turned into an Audio Nightmare as it worked for 5 minutes then would not play any songs after that. To anyone who is thinking about buying the AudioDream I suggest that you steer clear of this player.

I wish I had known about Review Centre prior to my purchase of the Packard Bell AudioDream 1GB. The size and style are extremely good selling points, unfortunately it is let down by poor quality build and performance. Packard Bell need to make it far more robust.

I got my Packard Bell AudioDream 1GB after my Packard Bell Audio Key broke, the screen just went. The firt day I got my audio dream I thought it was great but I was wrong, the case broke within a week because I dropped it once, that shouldn't happen. Next it kept freezing, then just didn't turn on. I have recently got an iPod and have experienced nothing wrong with it, it's great and for £10 more you can get an iPod instead of an audiodream, much better value for money + 3 gigs more memory ...

MP3 files did disappear from the Packard Bell AudioDream but I reformated and downloaded new firmware from the Packard Bell site and so far no problems. Looks like they have new firmware weekly.
