Bad Points: They wear out pretty fast, and pretty uneven. The inside is shredding out really fast (maybe it's the wheels are put on the car, or the callibration of the car) Also a lot of noise inside, I tested a Leon with the pirelli P-zero and the same wheel size and I immediately heard the difference.
General comments: These tires were standard on my Seat Leon.
The tires give a very good grip in wet and dry conditions. They react like it should on the steering wheel and the car.
I went on track for some laps and I realised these tires really do the job.
A good tyre with overall very good driving experience. Stable and reliable in all weatherconditions. (dry, rain...).

Not hardwearing and very expensive to replace. Tyres fitted as standard on my Peugeot 207cc. Have done 9,000 miles in approx 15 months, mainly motorway driving. A check has revealed that the INSIDE walls of both front tyres are shredding.

Drive an Astra 2.0 DTi and have got 49,000 miles from one set on the front (mostly motorway miles). Have found the grip both excellent in the dry and the wet. Will be replacing with the same tyre. No problem recommending this tyre to anyone.

Great grip but they wear out so quickly its beyond belief. Normally I need a set of fronts every 3 yrs (I use snow tyres for 4 month of the year, mandatory in swiss), these tyres lasted < 1 yrs, its a joke. So, they are not very environmentally sound because of this and work out hideously expensive.

I recently bought a Mercedes B200 with these tires and I had a freaky almost to be accident (with a very tight curve I didn't see and I was driving pretty fast) and the tires responded perfectly.Worth it ? sure!

205/50/17 Ford Mondeo 02 TDCI estate sport contact 2. Well theres two ways of looking at these tyres, if you like roundabouts or sweeping motorway bends at warp speed you will change fronts at low mileage from wear or sidewall damage but you wont fall off the black stuff in any weather conditions. What do you value life at..? Hard driving in Manchesters (UK) finest conditions I get approx 5k miles from the fronts and the backs are still at 6mm (2 sets of fronts in 10k)... no complaints as the ca ...

Lasted for 19k miles on the rear of my 5 series. Plenty of grip on 275/30 R19 tyres. Fronts are sitting at about 5mm left so expect to get about 35k miles out of them.
Replaced the rears with recomended tyres by BMW.....can see why. Great in the weat and the dry. Car goes like its glued to the road. Have no plans to go away from Conti any time soon.

Going to try them nitrogen filled next time. See what all the fuss is about! Long wearing (I thrash my car, regularly drive at 110+mph and have got over 30K from these), awesome grip (never found the limits thankfully!) and reasonably priced for the performance they offer.

Good grip in wet and dry, problem is they only lasted 6 months on a Ford Mondeo, 13000 miles. Expensive driving!

I have an Mitsubishi EVO 8 260 and have been running Bridgestone RE050's for three years now without complaint. I needed some tyres quickly and a local supplier had the Sport Contact's in stock, after a little research I decided that they should be comparable and so replaced all 4 tyres. Within 1 mile I realised it was a big mistake, I could not believe how my sharp handling had gone and my Evo felt like it had been replaced by a mondeo. The main problem with this tyre is the sidewalls, unless t ...

I write from Spain, I live in the center of the country in the mountains so we have here wet springs and dry summers. I change my car, thanks to a Leasing program, each 20,000km so I can test a lot of tyres and sometimes I have two times the same model of car with different tyres. I'm using now a Conti SportContact 2 in size 225/45 - 17 and after some other Contis used before I have again the same feeling with them... Good grip in general but not as good as other brands...
I have to say that I d ...

Only down side is the ContiSport Contact tyre wears quickly, but they perform in the wet just as well as in the dry.

These tire where awesome as I am a spirited driver. Although i wasted my money when i bought some cheap nankangs and came close to crashing with the nankangs a couple of times. I will save, buy some more continentals and toss those other ones away.

I drive an 06 Volkswagen Golf Gti. I wish I had known how soft and expensive these Continental tires can be, as i would've had them swapped out with tires that are a little more rugged. They grip the road well, the catch 22 is that they wear out very quickly i have found. I hit a pot hole and tore the sidewall of one.

Used the ContiSport Contact tyres for about 15000km with a mix of highway and urban driving. Treads still look good, but will be replacing soon. Rather nice tyres that inspires confidence even during spirited turns arounds corners. Have not pushed the tyres to their absolute limit but so far any give up is progressive.

Our ContiSport Contact tyres have lasted 24,000 miles by swapping the fronts to the back on an Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 Tdi, they have not been driven hard.

My car came with these tires. I have had 7! pop when they have hit a small pothole, destroying the sidewall. I drive relatively sedately, and have never had this problem with other tires. I have seen other similar comments on web forums. This tire is waiting for a class-action.

Did not last as long as I expected. My front tyres on my VW Eos needed replacing after only 13,000 miles (in 18 months) of normal everyday driving.

The Continental ContiSPort Contacts are good all round tyres, except for the rapid wear. That said they offer good all round grip.

Since being hit and the side wall being damaged the repairer can't even get replacements through the trade!Great Product, please produce more in Porsche sizes.
