The driver was rude and it seemed like he was in a rush. He took my baggage and broke the handle. Without even apologizing, he told me that it wasn't his fault and that I shouldn't have packed so much stuff. How is that his business in first place? I would never use this service again. I took this service to try it out since I have used go shuttle before. The trip was from Newark to Manhattan. Select the airport at 1 and the driver texted almost all the trip. They made a mistake with some bags and had to go around in circles. When I asked the driver said I could take a cab if I was not happy. By 3:30 I was still stuck with this terrible driver. We booked a roundtrip EWR / Waldorf Astoria, 301 Park Ave NY for March 25, 2013 4:14pm and return on March 29, 2013 12:00-12:15 PM. EWR-Waldorf was no problem but picking at the Waldorf up was a big problem. We start wating at 11:45 am at the exit Park Ave and warned the porter at Lexington Ave. This porter should give us a warning if the shuttle should arrive over there. Just got back from NYC - now appreciate its been a very difficult time for everyone. We decided to call Super Shuttle morning we were leaving to check they were still able to pick us up given the problems of Sandy. The company had our mobile number, hotel we were staying in and e-mail addressVery unhelpful customer rep - told us she didn't have a clue and was unable to help. Showed up 30 minutes late. It took about 2 1/2 hours before I hit my destination in Midtown. I think there were nine people on it to start with six stops all over the city. I was stop four and the first three to be let off were in all different sections of the city. The remaining two were swearing when I got off because they were so late. Newark APO - stay away they made me wait almost 1.2 hours for pickup. I spoke with several employees at welcome desk, this seems to be normal and drivers confirmed angry guests are common. my wife and booked the Super shuttle from Newark Airport to the Manhatten Club. They indicated that it would be 30 to 60 minutes, so a booked it. the Courtesy booth at EWR called them around 1020 pm. we didn't arrive at the Manhatten Club until about 100am. don't use their service, they don't deliver on promises. i would not recommend them to anyone. we have to use them in a week to go back to the airport. i wish they would have told me it would take 2/1/2 hours, as i would have made... The New York Super Shuttle kept us waiting at the JFK Airport for an hour and 20 min. Whats the point of ordering a shuttle for a certain time and then not getting one when you need it. We were so tired from our flight from the UK and all we wanted to do was get to our accommodation and sleep.We watched 2 shuttles come and go and when I approached them outside they would abruptly say "just wait inside". My girlfriend and I booked a supershuttle to take us from Newark to our hotel in Manhattan and it never turned up. We waited for 3 hours from 11pm to 2am, we rang the call centre 5 times throughout this and everytime he would say the shuttle is on the way. In the end we got into a Go! My husband and I had good service from LaGuardia to our hotel in Manhattan. We did not have to wait long, the driver drove fairly reasonably and he was not impolite. However, the return trip from the hotel to the airport was the total opposite. The driver was 50 minutes late to pick us up and made no apologies for being late. We didn't have much trouble on our ride from the Newark airport to our hotel in Times Square. The driver was a bit rude but that was the only problem. However, on the ride from our hotel back to the airport the driver dropped us off at the completely wrong terminal. My husband and I flew into Newark on 23 May 2011, to spend a week with my parents in New York (who were flying from Glasgow to JFK). My complaint is with the dispatcher and the lack of customer service. The drivers were both courteous and helpful. We took our 13 y/o granddaughter to New York City (Manhattan) for a reward during her spring break. Once we arrived at La Guardia we were unsure as to what to do. This is a review for Super Shuttle. I would give them zero stars but that isn't an option. They have zero customer service. Do you like feeling like a sardine? Do you like wasting several hours? We used supershuttle for Newark to Chinatown both ways despite all the bad reviews, as they were the only shared ride company that would go there. From the airport wasn't too bad, it took a while to fill the van up which is fair enough.
However the van failed to show up for the return journey. After 20 minutes on hold on the phone, Super shuttle said the van had broken down. They sent a sedan to pick us up, we got away an hour after the booked time. Luckily the time had been set nearly 5...

I took super shuttle 3 times in my life and only the first one went smoothly. I live in upper east side and took a supper shuttle to EWR on Saturday evening. I traveled with my friend and two of us spent $33 before tips. It sounds like an amazing deal. Nonetheless, you get what you paid, and missing a flight on international flight is not what you want. We booked Super Shuttle in advance via Expedia.com for pickup from LaGuardia to Manhattan and back. On arrival had to schedule pickup than waited for 20 minutes then made it to our hotel in a very tight van.
On return, Manhattan to LaGuardia, were given a pickup time 4 (four!) hours before scheduled flight. When we asked for a pickup 3 hours before flight customer service said OK but that they will not guarantee timely arrival to airport.

Super Shuttle is an extremely unreliable service! The drivers are constantly delinquent and the customer service reps/dispatchers/reporters are horrible as well. After waiting an hour for the driver to pick me up, I called customer service to complain, which was absolutely useless because they were unapologetic and were not willing to assist me at all. Super shuttle was supposed to pick me up at my apartment between 5 am and 5:15. I went down stairs at 5 am and by 5:30 they still had not shown up. I called the phone number and they told me the guy was there at 5:10 and I was not there and he left. They also said there was no other driver that could pick me up. SFK supershuttle--hell in a van. Drove back and forth around Manhattan for 2 hours before leaving for airport. Blazing heat outside--no airconditioning, just a blower. I just wanted to make a post to say that despite all the bad reviews this company has been receiving, we received nothing but exceptional service from them, I would recommend them to anyone who needs a ride to the airport.
We booked a Wheelchair Accessible Van for Airport Pickup and Drop-off from La Guardia to our hotel in Times Square and had no issues at all and they were very reliable.

I think the company is not reliable at all. The shuttle arrived 1 hours after the time it was supposed to come. I called several time the company while waiting and all they could tell me is 'it is coming in 5 minutes'. If I did not call the company, nobody would have tell us that the shuttle would be late. We had to wait 40 minutes for the Supershuttle instead of the 10 minutes we were told at the desk. We had pre-booked and told them the time we were scheduled to arrive so what's the point of pre-booking?
Four of us were squeezed into a space clearly intended for three and I ended up sitting only on half of the seat! A very uncomfortable journey indeed in a dirty and old vehicle. Thankfully we were the first to be dropped off. I have used Supershuttle in the past and found them to be okay...

We arrived at Newark Airport to find that "Super" Shuttle had overbooked the van, so we all had to wait around for 20 mins while they sorted it out. I arrived at the airport at the reserved time, and the Super Shuttled representative told me the next van would be available to pick me up in 90 minutes. 90 MINUTES? What is the point of a pre-paid reservation if they don't make sure to have drivers available then? Don't waste your time with this service, find an alternative. We had a prepaid reservation at LaGuardia, ready to leave at 9h15am, the driver showed up at 9h45, got to our hotel in Tribeca at 11h30...Due to the location of our hotel from LGA we were the last one one to be dropped off. Terrible experience with a late driver, unsafe conditions and no room for our luggage. I am very glad we were the last to be picked up because the journey from mid-town to Newark was very uncomfortable and although it didn't take as long as I feared it wasn't as short as our car service on the way in. We booked Super Shuttle service through Travelocity to get us to and from LaGuardia to our hotel in lower Manhatten. We waited over an hour for the Shuttle at the ground transportation desk at La Guardia after being told it would only be a 20-25 minute wait. Very bad service, I booked a roundtrip and it takes me 2.5 hours from JFK to time square, transported like animals, the van was full. Four passengers in every row, driver drive like grazy, shake us all like in an mixer. Pick up at the hotel failt, give them a call and they told me I am to late, that was not true, so they say I give them the wrong adress, even reception of the hotel told them that there was no driver from them. around 4PM - Flight arrived on a Friday at JFK Int'l. Airport
by 4:30PM - picked up checked bags
by 4:40PM - used Terminal 4 courtesy phone to call about reservation
by 4:50PM - the first estimate of van arrival passed
Was redirected by a driver to sign in with Port Authority of New York
and New Jersey (never mind I had given my reservation # on the phone,

First of all the wait at JFK was about hour and 1/2 before super shuttle finally showed up (my flight was on time and not even early) .... then when we finally got in the van we drove around JFK for other passengers for another 45 min.... including the same terminal we came from. Long waits both at airport on arrival and then at hotel on way back to airport. Driver into Manhattan was bad but at least he took us to our Hotel, on the return journey we were last on the bus and were just taken to the edge of Arrivals - instead of Departures - and dumped. We waited 45 minutes for the super shuttle, called 3 times, the Super Shuttle didn't show.
Calling the office, we were told that we weren't there, even though we stood right in front of the building for 45 minutes. No other shuttle was available and no compensation for a cab was provided. Not recommended!

My family had a 7 am Sat 3/21 flight from La Guardia. Dispatch insisted on 3:35 am pick up at our Times Square hotel, then driver arrived 15 min early. Arrived at the airport at 4:05. After reading plenty of bad reviews about this shuttle service, I was hesitant to book with them. In the end I decided to give Super Shuttle a try anyway, since, let's face it, people that had bad/horrible experiences are much more motivated to sit down and actually write a review. The thousands that received good service often don't publish their experience.
I booked the Shuttle Service online, and did NOT add gratuity there since I feel rather uncomfortable not tipping someone directly....

NEVER AGAIN! I arrived at JFK and called SuperShuttle to confirm that I had arrived. I was told that it would be a 45 minute wait. I waited and waited, an hour an a half later, I called them back. Overcrowded minibus, white knuckle ride, but worse of all the tirade of abuse hurled by our driver at a taxi driver who we had completely blocked in when dropping off at the airport. Customer service was non-existent and I had to desperately call around my town for two cabs to get my family to airport in time. Booked the trip in advance thinking that this would be quicker when we arrived at the airport - wrong. The other passengers on our flight who did not have a booking were picked up more than 40 minutes before we were. When our driver did eventually arrive some 60 minutes later, he was the most grumpy and unhelpful man you could ever imagine.
