Bad Points: Late to pick me up to go to LGA. Still got there in time, but was kept waiting on the curb in front of my hotel for 45 minutes.
General comments: Driver was terrible. I've ridden in NYC taxis which are crazy enough, but this guy drove like a maniac. It's a miracle that I don't have whiplash the way he took off after each stop, not to mention the fact that he slammed on brakes when he reached a stop light.My hotel was on the upper east side on Manhattan which was actually closer to LGA than anyone else he picked up. I was the second one picked up, but then we went back downtown to pick up other people before heading back in my direction.
Like many other reviewers, I will never use SS again. It will be worth the extra money to take a cab or limo in order to be on time and safe.

This service (or lack thereof) should be avoided at all cost. Taxis in NYC are plentiful, and unless you are travelling alone, are just as cheap and far more comfortable and reliable for trips to and from the airports in NYC.

I purchased the service online and they gave me a non-refundable voucher that I could hand over to their driver. When my flight landed, I found out they don't even serve that airport and I didn't get a refund either.

It was cheap. Driver drove too fast, he hit many kerbs. The seatbelts did not work. I would not use this cheap service again, not even if it was free.

Listen if there is a traiin service as there is from ewr to city take it for peace of mind, then get a weekly train ticket in subway station for 24 dollars per person that takes you within a few streets of most hotels in new york.

On the way out from the airport I ended up waiting 30 minutes for the Shuttle to arrive. Once I got in the van, I had to wait another 45 minutes, as the driver waited for more passengers. I made a reservation for Super Shuttle to pick me up from JFK to my apartment (in LES). I arrived on time at 6:45 am. I just used Supershuttle last weekend (Sept. 2007) to travel from LaGuardia to Manhattan. It was a great experience. When the driver dropped me off at the hotel, I regretfully left one of my bags in the Supershuttle. Used Super shuttle at JFK to get to and from a hotel in downtown NY. Hopeless. After breezing through customs, it needed three phone calls and a 45 minute wait before the bus arrived. With a 2 hour journey to the hotel, not good news. For the return journey, they were more than half an hour late. The concierge at our hotel called them 'StupidShuttle' - it's a common problem he claimed and they don't get any better. Never again.

I requested a pick up with Super Shuttle 2 hours before the flight, the booking rep pushed for me to get my shuttle 3 hours before instead. The shuttle turned out to be an hour late anyway. The driver wasn't even done, he went to pick up other passengers, then drove like a maniac to the airport. I managed to check-in about an hour before my flight.

The New York Hotel to Manhattan Super Shuttle didn't show, even though I called the driver an hour beforehand and gave him exact directions to my Manhattan apartment, which was right off Broadway. We booked the New York Shuttle to Manhattan in advance, and we were told to be ready between 6 - 6:15, and we were finally picked up at 7.
Another passenger was booked @ 5:15 and picked up @ 6:30. She was within walking distance of our location, and the driver took 30 minutes to find us! Manhattan is NOT difficult. The worst mistake we made on our trip to NYC was booking Super Shuttle. Our journey in began with a dispute over the vouchers we had from Expedia. The person at the booking desk said that they would be honoured. The driver said he wanted cash. Re-checked with desk. He said they would be honoured. Complete confusion.
