The Cometa Fenix 400 Carbine has as much power as any more expensive gun, at a good price. blows through any tins 60ft+. nice looking gun, not for juniors due to weight. MUST use good slugs. Springs readily available from about £20. Spanish gun of about 22 lbs pressure reduced to legal 12 for uk. Nice trigger, smooth with no snatch. glad I bought it. +++++

This Cometa Fenix 400 Carbine gun is a brilliant spanish air rifle which works brilliant in the right hands now it is quite heavy for teenagers or young people. At first it is quite hard to cock but this can be resolved with some WD40. Hunting: This gun is brilliant in the field suitable for small game, pigeons, rabbits and even fox! Overall this is an all round gun for hunting and plinking, it is brilliant with a 3-9x50 or a 3-9x40.

    Safe and happy hunting!

    Thanks

without a doubt the Cometa Fenix 400 Carbine is the best springer rifle i,ve hunted with. the velocity is hard to match in the 12 ib category also the silencer is surprisingly quiet when compared to other spring loaded rifles . all in all a great hunting gun .

I recently returned to the sport after several years away, mostly encouraged by a friend who had just acquired a Weihrauch. My previous rifles were BSA and Webley and I had intended to return to one of those brands however when i visited the gun smiths and was presented with a huge selection, the fenix carbine really caught my eye the stock is very high quality and the finish is perfect, the break barrel action is very well machined and in general the metal work also looks to be great quality. I've had mine for 8 years now and it hasn't missed a beat. I have the FAC model as there's no restrictions in NZ for power. Very accurate, very quiet and so smooth to load. A great hunter as it's had over a 3000 kills. I'm now a proud owner of a BSA
Superten and I'm still hunting with my Cometa Fenix 400 as I fell lost with out it. It loves accupell,s.

the rifle is well made accurate and easy to handle which i think makes it well Cometa Fenix 400 carbine is worth the money.the one thing i really like is the fact that they had the common sense to fit it with a safety catch something i think all manufactures of air weapons should do.

Cometa Fenix 400 Carbine is a great, accurate gun with a silencer that does cut the report.

I got myself the Cometa Fenix 400 Carbinefor xmas. First rifle owned since I was a kid & used to shoot rats with BSA & Webleys. First time out of the box after 30+ years without shooting & I can hit a target dead on 6 times out of ten at 15 yards without a scope. No recoil to speak of, very quiet rifle. I've got a 2nd hand Hawke 8-32X44 scope off Ebay coming plus a cheap laser & red dot sight to try, can't wait!

What fun I'm having shooting small chalk exploding animal targets at 20 yards plu ...
