Good Points: Includes seven tracks that show a creative and talented head for songwriting along with a group talent for producing a tight and proficient sound.
Bad Points: A mere seven tracks isn't enough!
General comments: Cornflames, Tonight, Soon Or Forever - Back in 2000 the Belgium based emo-rockers 'Cornflames' released their debut CD, the seven track mini-album " tonight, soon or forever." From this first release the talented four-piece made a name for themselves amongst the press, concert organisers and music fans. The band quickly formed an ever-growing fanbase for their mature sound, existing out of guitar-driven melodies and passionate choruses. The band have since released a four track E.P. and an eight track album along with playing many festivals and undertaking some large tours.

With a sound not hugely dissimilar to that of the rockers 'Rival Schools', the band have managed to deliver a powerful and emotionally charged mini-album. The CD is well-recorded and produced with a clear sound for each instrument. The band is created with joint lead vocals from the two guitarists Jeroen Liberloo and Eppo Janssen. Released through Funtime Records, the mini-album includes some top-quality packaging with very minimalist design.
All in all, if you like such bands as 'Rival Schools', 'Hundred Reasons', 'Cave-In' and the like, then you can't go far wrong with this band. Each track shows a creative and talented head for songwriting along with a group talent for producing a tight and proficient sound.
