Good Points: Very professional image, good ticket services and monthly passes. Very up to date/modern buses in most cases.
Bad Points: Reduced services on holidays can be quite abismal on some services (i.e the #18).
General comments: Lothian Buses is generally quite a good bus company but some of the main issues include a travel-line which never seems to have anyone present to answer the phone, poor services in some areas that Lothian deems to not be financially viable to operate and some strange projects in co-operation with Lothian council like the new guided bus lanes near the Gyle centre that are quite uncomfortable when you are on the bus (lots of vibrations through the bus).
