    Good Points: The only good point is they are now answering the phone quicker.


    Bad Points: Too numerous to list.


    General comments: I ordered my Philips TV on Dec. 28th 2004 from ElectricalsCentre.com, but as yet, over 3 months later I still have not recieved it. I have rung at least a dozen times, but all I get is the same answer, "philips have not got any stock yet". Unfortunately I paid my credit card bill off straight away, so I have not got a leg to stand on apart from going thro the small claims court. If anybody uses this firm they will want their head examining.

    ElectricalsCentre acknowledged my order and debited my credit card the next day, but failed to deliver the product when promised. I am still waiting for a refund two months after the order, and a month after the promised delivery date.

    I have received several verbal agreements to a refund but none is forthcoming. Their premium rate telephone number is constantly engaged and they do not respond to my emails.

    I ordered a DVD/VHS player from ElectricalsCentre on 20th december 2004. They received the order on 28th December 2004, despite the implication that the ordering was immediate. When by 10th January they had been no action I called and they said it was coming but were unable to give an arrival date. I called again on 22nd January and they said it was on back order even though they guarentee on their site to call before back ordering.     I ordered a philips tv on 30th Nov from ElectricalsCentre.com. Payment was taken on the 1st. There was no reply to my email enquiring about delivery. Eventually I left a message on the answerphone advising the 17th i.e. max of 13 working days in their terms and conditions (probably standard practice).     Ordered a tv from ElectricalsCentre on 30th december.

    I got an initial confirmation of my order immediately.
    However I was suspicious after hearing nothing from them after a week. I phoned them and they said I would be phoned before they would deliver the item so I could be guaranteed to be available.

    They said they would call within the next week. I have still heard nothing from them and no tv.

    As the others on this site have mentioned, stear clear of electricalcentre.com

    ElectricalsCentre.com: The company took my order but gave no order acknowledgement. They promised delievery in december but nothing was forthcoming and so evenutally they indicated delivery would take place when we were back to work. The order was therefore cancelled, however since then it has been an uphill battle to get any communication whatsoever. The phones are always engaged or if not, then they are simply not answered. Fax are not acknowledged, e-mail not acknowledged with any follow-up. ...

    ElectricalsCentre.com: OK, I ordered a DVD/VCR combi from them way back in November ready for Christmas. I ordered the item on 3rd November and they took the money from my account on 8th Nov. After the initial email confirming my order, I heard nothing. After a week or so I tried to ring but couldn't get through so I emailed them.

    I received an email saying they'd contact me by phone, which they did the next day. The combi was advertised, listing the specification and on the top and bottom ...
