Many of the cricket teams wear green, unlike football where there is a highly practical reason why the colour is such, i.e. the need to identify your team mates, cricket teams have much more flexibility of team colours. Generally Pakistan have been the most famous side to wear the green jersey, it was only really introduced in the 1992 World Cup as standard. It seems the Pakistan One Day Shirt was plainly made to be dull. It unnatractive, bland and therefore rubbish, kind of like the team that wears it. I think i have said enough....

Pakistan One Day Shirt - Ding dang doo, what a shirt. As made famous in Max and Paddy. Everyone should own one of these shirts. They are an attractive green and have breathable material. I'm english and therefore an english cricket supporter but you just can't beat this.
